    I like your boots, ws.

I'd look crap in them, but if you liked them - and you know what you look good in - then the chances are they'll suit you.

    Let us know.

What a charmingly deep turn this thread has taken.

And how fascinating to be able - if only faintly - to imagine the outlines of our fellow posters.

The problem is I think I will look crap in them too.

They were bought for the woman I want to be (who turns out to be sjay, the cow). Tall, athletic. They are really not for short ars ed little tinker I really am.

    I really enjoyed the idea.............

Erm, I know of selective hearing- but selective reading?:p

We would all like to buy things that actually would better on another body shape. FWIW I think a cute pair of suede boots with a knit dress and chunky scarf is a very elfin kind of look- and would look great on a petite girl :)

^says the one who doesn't care for fashion! Fcuk it- put a beret on too, under my knowledgable instruction lol

    Ok

I am not to wear the fu cking boots I desperately wanted because they will emphasize the short ar sed little cow I am. I accept that. I knew it anyone really.

But a beret? Chunky fu cking knits and a beret? You are having a laugh. The last person I saw dressed like that was called Brown Owl and I was slipping her 2 quid every thursday.

I am aware I have absolutely no taste or fashion sense but honestly, what have I done to deserve a beret?

Brace yourself. I wear a beret sometimes. :D

Hats are funny...but I love them. Also, I wear hats reasonably well. I prefer brimmed hats but berets are easier often.

Nothing fits me now. I mean ... nothing.
I've had to move onto fleece-lined leggings round the house ... but I have an interview next week and ... nothing fits me. OMG.

I do have a pack of PJs I've not unwrapped... should I wear those to that? Make a statement, be bold..... I won't be forgotten!
