I've no worries about how hot I am. I know I am ...
    Hidden hotness me.
I am what I am, I am what's inside my head and heart. . . if all you see is somebody with no fashion sense and ill fitting clothes, then you've missed the opportunity of sharing my wisdom.

... says the spinster of the thread :)

Do women actually buy this stuff, or do they think creep? :)

It depends if you are one or not.

I'm certainly not looking for anything here and just treat everyone as friends.

It is the nice people thread afterall ;)

If I said that stuff to them, they'd either reach for a bowl or punch me. :)

My dad is 6 ft 2. I'm taller than him with some of my old shoes on. Its not about height barefoot for a girl. Shoe size and leg stamina. Thats what makes you tall.

Ok, we'll we'd tower over the tiny ants on the rest of this thread, you with your high heels, large shoe size and leg stamina and me with my pure unadulterated height. Being 8 inches taller than your dad you'll have to wear very high heels to be taller than me though. :)

LOL. My feet are size 39. I have shortish toes, :o, so I get a lot of extra height. In Italy I felt like a huge giant, not terribly feminine. DH's dad is five foot niente. My mother is just shy of that, dh's mother was even tinier. I'm very satisfied with my height, I'm short enough, just, to ride ponies, tall enough to not have to take up trousers/skirts all the time.

I think, despite his lack of height D must have a tall gene to have reached over five and a half feet at all....he towers over the rest of his family...

wageslave is right though, tall is very, very attractive. Its not just the nothing to prove, its the innate feeling of being protected by a tall guy, tall suggests wealth...good nutrition to have attained the height.

Good nutrition? Any nutrition as far as I was concerned when growing up. Couldn't stop eating. Used to have a "tea" after getting in from school before mum cooked a couple of hours later for all of us. Starving. Bless.
My mum says the food bill quite literally halved when I moved out. Not quite the metabolic furnace I was as a teen nowadays but still eat plenty and mainly healthily.

As for the protected bit, that's what the mrs says she likes but then it's not often I can actually hear what she's saying seeing as she is so close to the ground :D

Do you bang your head much? I knew a Dutch guy, 7 foot 2, he married a lady from the Carribean 6 foot 6. He was always getting bruises on his forehead where he'd forgot to duck.

    btw. I'm a little over 6 foot, so a bit of a shorty. :)

    :rotfl:

No. I always find people around 6'5" etc bang their heads more as they're not used to having to duck and it catches them out. Me - I'm used to it, so very rarely get caught out. It's pretty much a self limiting mistake.

If and I mean if I ever wore a hat, it would be a bowler.

I am beginning to understand the whole Daily Mail the internet makes women depressed thing.

There was a lot to be said for being an ignorant leprechaun

I have a bowler, and top hats (short and tall). Never worn them as fashion though....just when required. I'm really fussy about riding hats too, I always wear a leather harness, even in a day to day hat.
