Valentina2 - I bet you'll see a better result next week ( providing you don't pig out over Xmas!) cos it can take a week or two to kick in! Be patient and keep on track and you'll defo get the results you want.
Good new's for me this morning, no way was I walking into town with a buggy, so I scraped off the car and got the kids and went off to weigh myself, all of which I thought would be a waste of time cos I ate like a horse last week, and did hardly any exercise, but to my amazement I lost 2lb's - WOOHOO!!! This now takes me into my target loss area of 5 stone (actually 5st 1lb!!)
I'm gonna try and be very good over xmas, but I will allow myself some chocolate, as I hardly drink this is my (main) only vice!
I won't be weighing in on monday next week, will either leave it or do it on tuesday, depends how I think I'm doing foodwise, and if I need to 'see' how I'm doing IYNWIM!!
Anyway will pop back in later, to keep up with the thread. xx:money::money::money::money:
I love to save money0 -

Grrrr. I've been moaning on the fashion thread, but now I'm going to moan to you lot! (sorry those who read twice). I have ring worm. No idea where I have got it, none of our animals have it. I'm miserable. (They also found a suspect mole which will need dealing with in the new year
). DH is not mean to sleep with me, nor the animals. The only silver lining, as far as I can see, i thatthe tablets are apparnetly appetitie supressent....lol.

Oh good grief where on earth did you pick that up from? Try not to worry too much about the mole either. I generally have at least one "suspicious" one removed a year. So far ( touch wood!) they have all been fine. Nowadays if they are the least bit doubtful they tend to whip them off asap.0 -

Thank you...that really is very reassuring. Its on the back of my shoulder so I can't see it.
I have no idea where I got the ring worm from.I haven't noticed it on anyone I know, and none of our animals have it. It came up very suddenly yesterday evening and luckily I had some athletes foot cream and ut that on and called to ask GP this morning....they got me to go in, as I hve such complicated health and they wanted to check I was self diagnosing correctly, and they have given me the oral stuff, so hopefully we'll stop it quickly.

Sorry to hear about your health problems lostinrates. I hope the medication for the ring worm is quick and effective and that the mole won´t be anything to worry about.0

Nice one, I lost nothing at all for most of the first month and without making any further changes to my diet the weight then started coming off. Not unusual apparently.
Thanks for the encouragement and they do say that if you lose it slowly, you are more likely to keep it off. Hope so!0 -
I'm guessing I'll have a sts this week. Not been able to be very active, with the weather. Have even been driving not walking to feed my horses...0

I think so, I've been maintaining weight for 2 months now having lost it 4-7 lbs a month over 8 months and it's not too hard to do but does still take some discipline.
Loose it slowly on a relatively normal diet and you've taught your mind, appetite and body what it needs to know to maintain weight later
I'll confess I've gained 1-2 lbs this month being December but I know how to control it and trim it off again next month.0
