I am NOT Titch89. An IP check will tell you that.

So there are two of you with the same (multiple) conditions on the same course, at the same university ... and in the same halls? Oops, forgot ... you also support the same football team! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

You don't even know what teams I support.

Many people have the same disabilties as me - and I mean ALL my disabilities and not just one or two.

ETA Is it just me or are some people being rather harsh to a student with health problems. Seems a bit extreme to go stalking them round the internet just to prove a point. This isn't directed at Mrs Manda by the way.

We'll see if you feel so much like helping next time she signs up and posts all this, or the time after... ;)

You are on a hiding to nothing, I'm afraid.

Indeed, I just post as Taiko, and I'm the sole moderator for Money & Finance there. Also on call for their DSA forum.

My son takes his 17'' laptop to college everyday - as do most of his class. He also has to travel over 40 miles each way on the bus. He's just grateful he's got a laptop as he prefers it to the college computers.

Yeh but the OP also have back problems or w/e.
  • Regarding the OP's original question:
I don't know anything about disability support in uni, so I can't say whether the uni is obligated to provide you with large screen PCs if you already have a laptop. However, this issue should be relatively easy to sort out through normal channels.
    1) Go to the office of your personal tutor and talk to them in person. It might be a good idea to phone up first to see when they're free, but trust me - phoning or email is the only way to get a quick response. University staff get a ton of email every day.
2)Explain the problem to your personal tutor. Do not accuse them of ignoring it, or make it sound like it's deliberate. Most likely it's an oversight. Perhaps they were expecting to have the money to upgrade the computers, and then didn't? Regardless, sounding accusatory will only get people's backs up. Be nice!
    3) Your personal tutor will make suggestions on what you can do - for e.g. talk to the IT dept. If they don't help you or you really don't feel comfortable talking to them for some reason, take the problem to your senior tutor and ask them. Above your senior tutor there should also be a head of undergraduate something-or-other, but beware of taking this too high up without a very good reason.
4)While the problem is being sorted out you'll have to use your laptop. Contact IT and get them to sort your wireless connection out - there's not much point having one without it.

Alternatively, contact IT directly, explain that you can't see the tiny screens and ask them to move one of the bigger screens into that room.

Regarding the possibility of the OP having evil twins/clones/sock puppets:
Why though? What's the point? By which I mean why would the OP post the same thing under different names when the answers they get are unlikely to be any different?
Lol. No I was not searching for logic on the internet.:D
