    Even I'm NOT that sad.

So what are you hoping to achieve then?

Are you hoping someone from here will trot off to your uni and contact everyone involved on your behalf?

What do you actually want to happen?

I was simply asking for advice. As it happens, my tutor and disability support (not entirely sure who exactly) are aware of the problem now.

Well, you said they were before...

Who did you contact - I'd have thought it would be them who know...?

So, have you told them something they didn't know before, as a result of this thread?

Or get a trolley like the old ladies have, or one for luggage moving, get a bag that can be put onto it (Eastpak shoulder ones can, it usually says on the label and TK Maxx do them pretty cheap - and they have a lifetime guarantee if they break) put your uni bag on the bottom, then put your laptop bag on the top. Hey presto! No need to worry about heavy bags, no need to worry about your back and shoulders (can alternate hands) and all the stuff is there if you need it!

You can get special lap top bags on wheels and this would seem to be a simpler solution all round.

I wondered about that, my DIL bought one last week. She says it is great but can be lethal (I think someone fell over it in a crowd when they didn't see it) It was quite expensive, £80 I think. I dont know if you can get them cheaper

There are lots of them around on the internet for around £50; obviously cheaper if you can get one second hand.

Maybe a nice Christmas present, if not they probably have to wait for new student loan installment as most students I know seem broke now.

If your disabilities are really that bad, then you should get help.

As for depression - been there, done that and have the scars as well.

And what help could the university provide someone with depression? More time for assignments? That wouldn't make a difference. Anyway, my point was that you are getting a level of support that many others don't. You need to speak to the people involved in this rather than people on the internet. We can't do anything or offer you any advice apart from telling you to speak to them.
