Barclaycards overdue and mercers being nasty so need to make payment there as its stressing me and getting me down.
I have my usual loan payment at end of month and need to ask hubby how much hes paid this month, its such a hard month as have admin fee to pay agents for renewing our tennacy £70!
Im trying to stay positive, not panic and take one day at a time.
Im selling anything that I dont need and ebay picked up a little so im slowly getting there.
I guess the key is to celebrate and be happy any payment you make as its one step nearer and in right direction towards the goal.
Decided after debt free apart from morgage dont want to spend anyone elses money but my own and need savings for rainy days which we seem
to have allto often with appliances and bmw of doom!
I long for the day when
im paying in shop and not worrying it maybe be declined, cornersshop makes me nervous as takes ages!
when im not scared to check balance and see a positive on bank account-no charges!
im not avoiding persistant phonecalls which seem to go on up to 10pm at night, sundays, bank holidays!
not worried what nasty letters and statements postie will bring today!
At the moment i think our debt means we existing and not living our lives to the full! Its limiting us much it needs to go.
I want to have money for annual hol nothing flash
not worry about bill in supermarket, other day had grand total of 3quid to spend in co-op was so depressing.
The reductions we brought and freeze at xmas has saved us this month!
Dont want the kids to suffer due to our stupid mistakes.
When we look back at how we got in debt even more depressing
we dident go out and buy nice things or blow it on clothes/holiday.
it went on the car which has cost us 4grand in repairs over last 2years
reduced income meant we borrowed just to pay bills some months
no saving or contigency money when things broke, day baby was born dryer packed up!
No money put aside for birthdays and xmas so more borrowing!
feel like we reached rock bottom this month!
feel worried, stressed, unhappy sometimes sick but i know will get through this and feb much brighter.
Had my lightbulb moment long time ago but 2009 think it dimmed a little.
im so determined and much more focused guess for some people just takes time!
prepared to make serious sacrafices and cut back as much as I can in order to be out of debt 2010would be best xmas ever!
Sorry to be downer trying to stay positive , weathers making life harder, not looking foward tonext gas/electric bill!
hubbys works very slow so no chance of bonus this month but targets are stupidly high!If only he managed a ski shop!pad by xmas2010 £14,636.65/£20,000::beer:

KEEP CALM AND CARRY ON:D,Onwards and upward2013:)0 -
Think will get better Gailey...honestly.
We have all felt that way at some time..perhaps make the sacrifices and when things get a little better you can have a bit more slack.
Have you looked at every bill and seen whether you can get it cheaper..this is what I did when I first came here and still do it at least once a year as that can free up money for debts.0 -

I've paid today
Halifax CC...£270
A+L CC....£242.50
TOTAL....£512.50
£2OK CHALLENGE.....£5589.68/£20K0 -
Looked at my budget for the month so far and reckoned I could manage £60 in overpayments at this point. £40 paid to Egg Loan and £20 into ISA.
Will continue to move pennies balance of current account to ISA daily (will not bore you all with these in a posts!) and resassess my budget again next weekend to see if I can manage any more overpayments.
Hope everyone is still feeling positive about the challenge xxx0 -
