I have an old ring which I was considering selling. Do you think jewellers are interested in small rings? If I could use it to pay a bit off my debt that would be good.

You've got nothing to lose by taking it in and trying. My jewellery included a couple of dress rings, and when valuing they excluded the weight of the stones as they were only interested in the gold.

If they don't offer enough you could try ebay etc..

Thanks Chops...will slow down again while the weather is bad as we cannot work at the moment.
  • Hi all,

I've been able to go to work as it is only 5 mins away. I've been sorting out paperwork when I've not been at work and I'm going to sort my budget out. And while we are stuck in our little town (as we have to go up hills to get out of the town) I'm going to sort through my stuff that I don't need and try and get it listed on ebay to earn some extra wonga while everyone is snowed off work and surfing the net (hopefully on ebay bidding on my stuff :))

I'm gutted I've not got anything to report but as the local bank and post office is closed, and I've not yet been paid for some work I did I can't do alot about that.
