Keep going tete I know its not growing as fast as you'd like but at least you're not going to go overdrawn!! When do you get paid? and are you planning on moving money over then?

I think it probably is better to save less initially and add to it later on in the month and you'll feel virtuous when you do!

I'm jealous of you having tomorrow and Friday off! Even if it is crummy weather it'll be nice to not be at work!

I know, I'm trying to think like that Birdie, but it's rubbish as both OH and I live with parents, and both are retired, we don't have anywhere to go to just do as we please, snuggle up with a DVD or anything - the sooner we move out the better I'm so sick of living like this

Get paid Friday Tink so will probably do an assesment on Monday - it's another 5-weekend month! :eek:

Know what you mean Tete, dad was out last night and mum went to bed early, it was like a guilty pleasure cuddling up on the sofa in front of the fire instead of upstairs.

It's rubbish isn't it? It's worse during the day if you can't go out, sitting on the bed all day And not even able to make good use of it! Haha!

In many ways it must be worse for you, not able to make the most of the time you have together, at least we get all non working hours together, and can grab some alone time when we're lucky enough that everyone is out at once!

I remember when I was living at my parents and OH was round one rare day (he lived with friends so we spent most of our time at his). My parents house has a big living room upstairs and a little room that they turned into a TV room downstairs (it's a funny old coach house hence the upstairs living area) and we were in the downstairs room watching a film and my Dad came in to see what we were watching and plopped himself down between us for the remainder of the film! OH was mortified! LOL!

Dinah it's a horrible way to be going on Not horrible but far from ideal at least, we really need our own space.

at least you girls all live in the same county as your OHs!! The boy and I live over 100 miles from each other and can barely afford the fuel to go and see each other!
