Evening everyone!
Bit of an annoying day today, car broke down - repairs are going to cost at least £160maybe more. Have taken it out the moving house fund. Not ideal, but at least its not being put on a credit card like it would have done before!!
Hope you find something lovely soon with the house hunting teteBiggest Loser Weight Loss: 13 / 20 lb0 -

Oh dear I thought I'd done quite well but forgot about the card! It's a wedding acceptance and I've had the invite for weeks and weeks - must get my finger out!
Feeling OK though as have bought my breakdown cover and also got Dad's birthday pressie so can relax for the weekend.
It's going to be a cheap one as neither of us get paid til next week. We're heading to a NT house tomorrow for the free entry day, then hopefully the weather will be OK for a walk on Sunday.
Going to quickly finish off this review for DY as it's far too hot in here to do any work, then might fly off home early...Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Flower that's so annoying about your car
But like you say, better to use savings than make debt for yourself!
Good luck with getting on with the dissertation Tink, I don't envy you there!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

Hope you have a good weekend. Mine is going to be a cheap one too and I have another one before payday still boohoo.
Hope you have managed to do your wedding acceptance card now.0 -
Haha yes, finally managed the acceptance card last night, will post it off today
Birdie, we'll have to see if we agree on the subject
Hope everyone had nice weekends, we went to Beningbrough Hall on Saturday with the free National Trust thing, it was OK but I think the best thing about it is the Walled Garden and unfortunately it was peeing down, but it was a cheap day out. Had a look in the shops yesterday but it was just depressing as payday isn't til this Friday, I've already spent about £50 of it mentally!! OH was a dear though and bought me a dress I'd seen on sale for £16, very summery so I hope we get the weather for it.
I'm only in work three days this week and have LOADS to do I'm sick as a parrot, I just want to skive about and write reviewsWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Morning, been a bit AWOL last couple of days - have had my 'work head' on which is rare for me - feel good though as I've managed to get loads of niggly little things done that I've never seemed to have time for lately so I feel a bit less fraught. Today is my 'Friday' for the week
we were hoping to get out walking or maybe even have a night away somewhere but it looks as though it's going to pee down so maybe not
Just had a stock take of my bank accounts ... got £28 in the C/A, £10 of this is for the ebay skirt which hasn't come out yet, and I want to leave a bit of a float in there so I don't go overdrawn accidentally.
Have bought a few things from the savings account though so the MOF currently stands at £165.78. I'm going to put the last £13 of coppers into it at dinnertime, but I'm going to take £20 out to last me til Friday (payday) and also want to fill that car up whilst I'm near the cheapest petrol station, so that'll be another £20 ... this should leave me with £138.78 in the MOF. Rubbish.
Need to have a little look at my budget for the month too as I haven't done so yet. Probably going to put less in the MOF this month with the aim of not having to dip into it at the end of the month!!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0
