Just been going through my emails and found a £5 Amazon voucher from Bingoport - tried the code and I hadn't already used it! Now I'm torn though between a couple of books I want (after all, it's unexpected free money...) and putting it towards a kettle.... I'm going to have to do the latter I think, especially after having joined the 'no new books' challenge only two days ago!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

Oh very nice! Love little suprises like that!
I was black listed by BingoPort i think, they never did send me that voucher :rotfl:0 -
I really should keep an eye on the up your income thread for things like that deal, and get on the bandwagon before too many people do and they change the rules, which always happens when I start on something like that *roll eyes* (I miss the rolly-eyes smiley!)Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

Sounds great Tete, last week we got a Philips HD4644/00 Energy Efficient Kettle from Amzon for £19.31. We Which?ed it, but most of the best buys had bad reviews in the comments section apart from this one. It's not a very snazzy design though....:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0

Dooyoo are on the ball today, I suggested a product at about 11 and they sent me an email at 12.30 to say it was ready for a review!
Just checked my MOF bank account through my fingers, and it's at -£15-something, which isn't as bad as I was expecting, but £4-odd of it was OD interestmust be left over from January, but now that I'm in my OD a tiny bit now I'll get interest again in March won't I? Gah, what a load of bankers!

Just had our payslips and I've noticed that my NI number is wrong! How long has it been like this? Investigation needed this evening. Augh, there's always something that needs sorting out isn't there?
Mental note:
- Check old payslips and query with HR
- Raise Quidco query for EDF
- Find cheap breakdown coverWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
oooh tete I love the house! the boy is near Scarborough (which to be fair, I thought was pretty up there in terms of the North-ness?) but hey
That house is lovely! Obviously I can't know if its expensive but I like all of the exposed beams and the staircase! It looks really nice. I've lived in a cheap place here for the last 2 years and to be honest, its only ok because im still at uni. I figured I would rather save and live somewhere rubbish now so that I can live somewhere good later/have a bigger deposit when I oneday want to buy?! So if youre going to be there a while buy something nice and dont hate it like i do!0 -
I agree Tink, especially as it won't even really be a struggle for us.
Ah Scarborough's about an hour and a half away I'd say - have you been up to Whitby when you've been visiting him? One of my fave places in the world! And Staithes!
