Errr.... I'm reading a Horrible Histories - The Stormin' Normans! I found a load of them in my parents garage and had a fit of nostalgia so I'm going through them at the minute!

There's nothing like watching Jeremy Kyle to make you realise how good your life really is!

Did you see that show about the baby ward last night? There was a husband on there who was the most annoying man ever, if my had acted like he did I'd have smacked him around the head with the gas cylinder!

  • Hehe, at least they're educational Birdie! NOpe didn't see that but from the sounds of it on people's facebook comments it's enough to put you off kids for life!

I've just had a thought - do Travelodges provide towels??? I mean, I know they're basic, but...?

Yes they do, they're not that basic! I think you even get tea and coffee so you're hardly slumming it!

That show didn't really put me off, I just hope I'm not as loud as the woman with the annoying husband, she just groaned constantly! Her 18 year old son looked horrifed!

It felt like any other hotel room except for the nasty carpet and ikea-ish furniture the one we stayed in. Towels, tea and coffee and little cups provided.

    Hi all!

I watched it. It was dreadful. You would never think she was on baby 4. She didn't seem to know what was happening. The husband was horrible to her. I would ban him from the delivery room!

He is exactly like my OH would be lol, although after watching that he is insistant he is not watchign when it happens. He says he will faint, to which I said he is a policeman so should be used to these things! I think I was the only person who actually found the husband funny, but then my OH is a bit of a joker like that. He was probably just trying to take her mind off it.

It didn't put me off really either, althought when they threatened to make a slit I did feel slightly ill.

I am just about to read Where Rainbows End (Cecelia Ahearn) which I got for a pound in asda yesterday. Will start that on the tube tonight.

To be fair, I can see how their relationship works but the taking the p*** wouldn't be for me. It works really well for some people though. I am looking forward to seeing the water birth next week!

I would probably be getting just as wound up if it was me in her situation but could still imagine my OH doing it. They had been together ages, so must be doing something right!

Yeah - it obviously works for them. Have to say - smarmy smug couples that say they never fight I find harder to take. I think there has to be some level of disagreement at times. It is healthy.
