Really! Gosh, then they're smarter than I've given them credit for and not just commitment-phobic :rotfl:
Lol, Wendz, I'm sure your OH is just biding his time! He wouldn't be talking about it all the time if it wasn't on his mind...LBM Sep 2008 debt: £27,927.04start weight: 140.2, week 2: 1380 -
Yeah I know he wants to do it one day (or so he says). I don't really mind waiting to be honest, will be a nice surprise as am giving up guessing hehe. He has already lived with me 18 months so hopefully he has decided I am worth living with!0

Ha that reminds me of when I told OH a couple of weeks ago that I had won £5 on my scratchcards, I was excited cos it was the most I had won. Turns out he had won £200 that night at the bookies then another £245 the next night - he didn't want to steal my thunder, bless!
We've discussed living together but not really mentioned finances, I'm sure I earn more than OH (cos I'm grossly over-payed for my job) but we are both equal cos I have debt and he doesn't, swings and roundabouts I guess! Where you staying in Edinburgh Tete? I love Edinburgh
ETA: OH just text, he won on footy results and again on roulette (don't know how much), but he's taking me for a hotel night somewhere, he's just too lucky for his own good!0 -
Ah bless him Swinstie! Does everyone else's OH think they're a bit odd doing reviews for 50p etc etc? Mine does, until I buy something for 'free' with my earnings
I'd definitely like to live with someone before marrying them but then again OH and I have been together for 2 years so I think you can get a good idea from that!
I agree with Poddle Wendz, it must be on his mind he's just keeping you on your toes!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Tete that's great news that your OH has been saving and everything is looking exciting! It's such an amazing feeling being excited about the future :j
Do you think the chocolate guiness cake would work as cupcakes?Total Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675Lose 21lb : 0/21
House Deposit Savings : £8,600/£25,0000 -
Hi Zig, thanks! I don't see why not with the cake - I think I've actually seen on a website somewhere someone did them as cupcakes, I seem to remember they were in little green cases...
I can't find the one I was looking at but if you google 'Nigella chocolate Guinness cupcakes' loads come up. I'd imagine you'll need to reduce the baking time.Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

It didn't really! By the time I'd got in a faffed on with various things it was time for Embarrassing Bodies so I went and watched that in bed - it gave me nightmares though! That girl with her toenails! you all know I have problematic toenails so it worried me (they're nothing like that though I hasten to add!!!)Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

Oh that was gross Tete, I turned the TV on just as they were removing her nails, I was watching with my hands over my eyes! What was wrong with her toes to get to that state?! OH tells me off for watching stuff like that when he's in because it gives him nightmares. He couldn't look at me in a sexual way for days after watching something about making babies, I think it was the word mucus that got him! He still can't hear that word without turning green!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0

I don't know I think it was an infection that got out of hand because she refused to address the problem, making me cringe thinking about it even now!
Been on the VW website and configured a little Fox, they're so cute. Then went on Autotrader and looked at Micras - you can get some nice looking 52 plate ones for £1500 and under, so I think that's my decision made. I'm hoping Bluey will make it through til the Spring without too much drama and he should be OK in the warmer months, might have to think about replacing him come the autumn thoughWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0
