Morning, wow that sounds really good Flower let us know how you get on!
Didn't do anything too special yesterday Poddle, we just went out to my fave cafe for breakfast (fried brekkie which I didn't mention on your thread!!), then went to feed the ducks! Wasn't feeling too well at all yesterday but bit better today so am in work, trying to catch up on what I missed last week.
Didn't make Monster Mash in the end CMD, I forgot to make a note of where it was before I went so I couldn't! Went for a soup lunch in a cute pub on the Royal Mile, then went to The Dome for my birthday dinner and a couple of pubs nearby afterwards. No sign of the baba yet???
Money news: Peeped at my bank balance through my fingers then wished I hadn't - I've got about £45 in my current account and £9 in my purse, and payday is next Friday! I do have that £40ish in the MOF but I don't want to end up dipping into that!!!! Ciao have finally paid up from the premium fund though so I have £7.40 to withdraw from there...
Ooh, I bought a pan set with some birthday money at the weekend! Love love love them, and feel excited at the prospect of having made a real start on my house thingsWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

I know what you mean, at least if I dip into the MOF it's better than going overdrawn but still!
Yeah I have lots of little things, mainly baking things, that I'll be taking with me but this is the first thing I've got and put away to be used when we move, it's so exciting!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -

Tete you remember how your skirt came up huge? Guess what, could fit me and half of me again in my dress. I'm beginning to wonder if the woman in Boyes was right and my normal size is the one I take in patterns.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

aw sounds like you had a great birthday! Shame about the money situation but why not take it as an opportunity to be really frugal and eat just from your cupboards and do loads of free stuff etc? Way better than having to dip into the moving out fund if you ask me!! (I set myself the incentive saver - you get no interest for a month account so that I won't take out of my savings!) although I know that that would be better than using the overdraft!
I've finally written my 100th review on dooyoo lol! woop woop! and hopefully I will get lots of rates today to push me over the 38000 mark and closer to getting my cheque!!
You inspired me to look on ciao and I got a payment from the premium fund too! (£2!!) I still don't really understand it but it isn't very hard and I am just now waiting untill I am over £5 and I can withdraw!
(thanks for the rates!)0 -
Hi all,
Flower - exciting news about the house, hope you like it.
tete - it is good getting house things before as it costs so much when you move in. Best to be organised! Also makes it a bit more exciting!
I am feeling the squeze as well, though not as much as last month. I shouldn't have any need to spend much apart from food shops so should be ok. Something always pops up though doesn't it.0 -
Dinah, I'd forgotten to size my waisband though so I think that's all it was. I also allowed myself a lot of seam allowance as I was worried I'd make it too small!
Tink, I know, I'm going to try to be very frugal, the good news is that there's plenty in for my lunches this week but I'll definitely be needing petrol...
Yeah that's what i think Wendz, and there's bound to be so many little things that I forget and need to quickly buy when moving in, like teatowels and things, that it's best to get as much as I can and can remember now!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Just logged into Dooyoo, thanks for all the rates Tete!! You're the best!
Glad you had a good birthday!
Hope everyone had a good Valentines! Me and OH agreed we couldnt afford to get each other anything other than cards. He surprised me with a dozen red roses, a helium balloon and a big gift bag lined with rose petals, full of my fav chocs etc!! I was so excited and then he told me to keep digging! At the bottom there were tickets to a comedy club in London, which we went to last night, after he took me to dinner! So i was well and truely spoilt!Cant wait to get a job so i can spoil him back.
Only need 740 points to get my second voucher on Toluna, hopefully in the next couple of days.
ETA: Exciting about your pans!!0
