PS. Tete, if you have this woman's address you could do a Sharon Osbourne and send her some poo in the post. That would give her something to complain about! :rotfl:
Actually, I'd reply and tell her it might be poo that is in the crevices and since she paid a 'crap' price for the boots, she can get the 'crap' out herself
I have bought from ebay but never sold, too many horror stories. I usually give my stuff to charity but some of them can be snooty (I never hand in rubbish stuff), found a lovely one nearby I don't mind giving to. Talking of charity stuff, my de-cluttering is not going well, suppose better get myself moving. :rolleyes:0 -

You probably already have everything planned, but I recommend the Stephen Dumont chocolate place on Simonstevinplace - high end and gorgeous, but watch carefully if you buy weighed stuff cuz they tried to con me twice! And literally round the corner from that place is another very nice chocolate shop that sells amazing hot chocolate!
Ooh a hot chocolate place you say. Yum yum!!! Will defo look out for that! It sounds great

Ah I forgot you were going to Bruges too CMD! I've seen the Mannekin Pis, it's abot the most disappointing tourist attraction I've ever seen, don't know what I was expecting. I loved Bussels though. Glad you enhoyed it Zig, sounds like you packed a lot into your two days!

Augh, had a big stress on this morning when I totted up everything I have to do today before going to London on Thursday (tomorrow's a write-off as I have work all day then sewing and have to go straight to OH's from there). I've calmed down a bit now and am going to keep my to do list simple for today.
- Make dentist appt
- 1 Dooyoo
- Pay £10 work xmas dinner deposit
- Make packing list
- Visit granny
- Find addresses and write out last Christmas cards(managed to find some old white cards to use after I posted last night, means I don't have to go to the other end of town at lunchtime to try and exchange the red ones)
- Little bit more of sewing folder
- Finish off felt tree hanger thingies
- Pack for London
My problem is that everything always takes much longer than I expect - especially when it comes to visiting my Grandma, she just keeps gabbing and gabbing and I can never get away.
But I'm trying to be rational and zen about things. I'm making my own Christmas cards because it's a nice thing to do and I enjoy it. I'm making little tree hangers for my friends because I love them and I want to try different crafty things. I'm doing the sewing because it's something I really want to learn. I'm visiting my granny because I love her and am lucky to live close by. I'm going to London because I have a wonderful boyfriend who I want to spend time with and we're lucky to be able to afford to go so close to Christmas.
There I've talked myself out of my strop, I am very happy.
Ooh, in money news, my ebay money has arrived in bank account so that's my spending money sortedand I've not had an email from the shoe woman, nor has she left me any feedback, so hopefully fingers crossed that will be the end of that.

You will get there in the end. Try doing something easy first so you can cross it off your list quickly and then you will feel better about yourself!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

Yeah I do do that! I sometimes put things on my to do list that have already been done so that I can cross them off straight away
Today's one is more or less in the order I'll do them though, that helps to keep me focussed!

I am guilty as charged for that one as well.
It's great you live so close to your Granny. When I go home I am always under so much pressure to see everyone and never get some time to chill, and I always miss someone out!Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947

I know what you mean, it used to be like that when I was home from uni for a weekend. Hopefully people will come to you though once the baby's born - don't know whether that will be less stressful though or more!!Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0

I think once OH learns to drive and we can hire/borrow a car when we are in Ireland we can go and visit people when we are over. It will make things a lot easier as most people are a car journey away.
There are a few people that want to visit us over here in the New Year but the first weekend I am free is the 29th Jan and I don't want people coming over so close to the due date. I want to be winding down rather than being a tourist guide. It will be nicer to see people when the baby is born anyway as I will be off on maternity leave.Total (Aug 19):€58,567 Now:€26,947
