Steep Hill is fab but tiring, it really is very steep!
Agreed! I was going to comment how it's tiring but remembered that Tete and her OH are seasoned walkers so would go up it a breeze then think 'That Cinnys a right weakling, I could of done it carrying a donkey!'Tete_en_l'Air wrote: »So the main things to see are the Castle and Cathedral, then Steep Hill for tea and cake and shopping? Sounds a lot better than boring old Northampton! :T
Just about! That's what I've always done when I go to Lincoln anyways, I used to have my Drama and pottery lessons there so used to like walking around the Steep Hill bit. The main part of Lincoln is lovely too though! Ahh, I want to go to Lincoln now
Don't remind me about Glamour Birdie! I've done so well to only get the Eye bright!0 -

LOL! I became a woman posessed when I saw it. I first saw it on Sunday in WH Smith but had no money so went home to get some and by the time I went back they only had the Eye Bright left because someone else had had the same idea as me so I got that then went to 2 other shops to look for the others but they didn't have Glamour so yesterday morning I popped into the garage on the way to work- no Glamour. I made a hit list of shops for my way home and managed to find It Stick in one shop and Bad Gal in another! I wouldn't have rested until I had all 3! I now have 3 copies of the same magazine... I think I'll have to see if anyone at work fancies reading it!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

Sorry the house hunting is still falling flat, I think that things happen for a reason and the right place is yet to pop up, when it does you'll know why you had to wait so long!
Yeah that's kind of how I feel about meeting OH so hopefully you're right.
Off to hunt for Glamour now - so eyebright's the best one then is it?Weightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
Well I've used it for years and I like it! I've never tried the others which is why I wanted to get them cheap! Although It Stick has been discontinued so can't have been that amazing!
Tink- Eye Bright is used to lighten up dark eyes and open them up. I have really dark skin in the inner and outer corners of my eyes for some annoying reason, a bit of EB blended in there sorts that out. Also run it along the inside (i.e the pink bit not the underneath bit IYKWIM!) of the lower lid (unless you're too sqeamish!) to open up your eyes! You can also use it on your brow bone as a highlighter.

I'm back from my holiday in Corfu! I recommend Agios Georgios South btw Tete if you're still looking for holidays
I'm sorry to hear you're feeling down; I'd feel the same. Hope you're feeling a bit more positive though. Have you got any other properties to check out?
Me and OH have had a lucky day today. He won £85 on the lottery and I won a stay and a gourmet meal at the Hillbark Hotel in Wirral!
My money is all over the place so I really need to sort it out. I spent far too much in Corfu but it was so unexpectedly expensive.
Hope everyone is ok and having a good week! And sticking to diets! Mine starts again tomorrow - I put on 3lb on holiday! :eek:Total Debt (Dec 2015) £11,500 : Currently £7,675Lose 21lb : 0/21

Nice to see you back Zig and I'm glad you had a good time! Well done on the winnings too! We thought we'd gotten lucky on Saturday because OH put £1 on Gerrard to score first in the football and won £9 for it!
And the diet... yeah... it's errr.... going... 'ok'...:o It's TOTM so I feel like eating everything in sight at the minute but I'm resisting for the most part! I was going to do some exercise last night but I remembered that I had to make a birthday card for MIL so I didn't really have time... well I did but I'm just a lazy cow!Zumba tonight though!

As allllways, it's nice to have you back Zig
Well done on you wins! And I'm sure you'll get the 3lb off quickly enough when you get back to your normal eating routine.
I'm back in the 'shaping up' camp, went on the exercise bike (it's silent, so I can watch the telly!) for 35 mins last night and had a veggie tea. I've got a box of Strawberries at work today for my snack, I've been in a funk for the past couple weeks and am basically a teary mess 24.7 so my Mum bought me a box to cheer me up, and it's kind of working!0
