We're going to see what we think of the place and if we like it maybe go back one evening to see what it's like.
OH always says I think too much but I think that's one of those Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus things, he won't even realise how upset I've been and if I tried to explain it would sound pathetic anywayWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
aww ive missed loads today!! Tete I hope youre ok!! And Cinny! I failed 1st time too for going through a red light but then managed to get a cancellation so only had to wait about 6 days which was good.
Tete I think you sound totally how I would feel. You sound like youre so good togeether and its just a bit of a tricky situation really. I wish I could live with my bf, we've been together 4 and a half years but we are still a bit young career wise etc to be tied down to each other location-wise I think. (I have no career yet! Only just finished my undergrad literally today!)
hopefully you will like the houses and hey - you don't have to work tomorrow!!0 -
oh and the boys car has a chip but its had it for ages and it hasnt got any bigger but it will cost £80 to sort out when he finally does!0

Hi Tink, yeah things are all good, we've spoken on the phone and are back on an even keel again. He's been up to the house for a reccy and loves it so keep your fingers crossed for us!
Haha, red light, everyone goes through them - I actually saw two buses go through one today one after the other, I couldn't believe it! One of the things I failed on on my very first test way back when was driving on the wrong side of the road! I can't remember exactly what happened but I think the Highways people should take some of the blame for ambiguous road markings!
How was the final exam then? I hope you're out enjoying yourself now! Congratulations on finishing uni, only another forty or so years til you retire! xWeightloss: 14.5/65lb0 -
oooh lol i know!! less than 40 years hopefully!! Just need some wonder job/company first!!! (slash any would be good right now!)
the exam was like, the worst of them all so im not too happy (I got one of the chemical structures wrong and Ive been beating myself up a bit grr!) but hey, its over! BUT my student discount runs out in 7 days!! argh!! need a topshop spree before then I think/take my little bro shopping everytime with me so I can use his student card! I am really not wanting to start paying full price!!
I have 2 weeks of free time now and I am going to enjoy it I tell ya! I have a assive list of things to do and really want to list some stuff on ebay this weeknd (free listing sunday) but all my things are at home home and its not enough time to get everything sorted out
and I've gone over my minutes this month on my phone grr!!0 -
Well done on finishing your exams Tink! Try not to beat yourself up over any mistakes you think you made, it's too late to do anything and you'll just work yourself up into a frenzy!
Enjoy your time off, what have you got planned for the rest of summer/ the future?! My friend is a teacher who graduated 3 years ago and she still manages to get student discount by flashing some kind of 'student' teacher card (not really sure what it is) and telling the staff that she's a student teacher (although she's not...) and confusing them so much they give her the discount! Cheeky mare, wish I could do that!
House is looking positive Tete, it must be good if your OH is impressed!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

Morning all! Ah Flower, sounds fab, I'm jealous! The house was pretty awful unfortunately which was a big shame as I'd had high hopes for it. It was really nice inside, nicely decorated etc, but absolutely no outside space whatsoever and very minimal natural light, it was a stable conversion (a brick stable block of course, not like a wooden horsey thing!) and it seems as though the big house next door has converted them into two rentals, but kept the garden at the back as a massive garden for themselves and made sure there are no windows on the backs of the stables looking out over their garden, bit selfish but hey ho! We've totally fallen in love with the village though (Sedgefield) - it's bang on halfway between my work and OH's so don't know why we hadn't thought about it before, so it's widened our search area a bit at least. Also seen another couple of newly refurbished cottages in a nearby village, they look lovely but it says no pets ... might give them a call and see how strict that is, whilst emphasising what a solvent and wholesome couple we are
I'm starting up my WibblyBums quest again today (I never removed it from my sig, but had gone completely off the rails!) - little things have crept back in like having a chocolate bar every lunchtime, and biscuits and crisps etc etc,. And I eat when I'm upset, which I have been a lot lately - I wish I was one of those people who didn't eat when they were stressed or sad but I'm the opposite unfortunately! I'm at 10:8 again and can feel it, am going to aim to get down to 10:2 again in time for my girle weekend in London on 9th July. So going to restartt Food Focus as that really helped, and also get back into going to the gym at lunchtimes, which will keep me out of the shops as well. I've been into the supermarket this morning and stocked up on low fat cupasoups, fruit teas, couscous and fruit so hopefully I'm set for the week.
Got quite a long list this week, but feeling less fraught now I have my Wednesday nights free again
