I'm in the process of doing something like that! I had a cream cardi that has those bobbly pompom bits on, it went short and wide in the wash so I'm giving it new buttons and turning it into a cushion cover. All I've done so far is turn it inside out and hand stitch over the sleeve holes with wool and a big needle, then going to stitch over the neck and finally, turn it the right way around put the cushion in and stitch the bottom up. The seams are stronger than I'd imagined. Hopefully I'll have a piccy to post by the end of the week as it's on my to-do list!

Yeah the AQA thing was more complicated than I thought and although people like CMD earn lots doing it, I don't really have the time, and don't REALLY need the money either so I've chucked the idea out!

Oh and believe me I've got a whole pile of 100-page books waiting to be devoured once I finish this tome! It's not that it's big exactly, I'm just not really into it enough..

    HOMETIME!

Doing a little bit better now, did a few things this morning before work, made me half an hour later than usual but at least they're done now. Notably the Gym one isn't going too well! I want to try and do a Dooyoo today too.

My Eat Me book arrived yesterday, couldn't believe how fast it was! There was nothing I really fancied on first glance I have to say, but it's nice to read though :D

LOADS of work to do again today, honestly! Gah!

Looking forward to seeing the cushion cover! Maybe your OH is dragging his heels because he's scared of being overrun by soft furnishings???

OH used to be really picky about what he wore (always Next, nothing else!) but since we moved in together it's like he's given up; I mean, he still wears nice clothes and dresses well but he just wears what I buy him/tell him to wear. He used to be adamant that he wouldn't wear Primark clothing but now most of his favourite shirts/t-shirts are Primark and he's quite happy with them. I want to see just how far I can push it with clothes, the other week I bought him a bright blue t-shirt with a picture of a T-rex wearing 3D glasses because I thought it was funny and it was £4 and it's now been bumped up to 'favourite' and he hasn't had it off! I think he's just settled into obedient husband mode early!
