Welcome back Tete, Italy sounds blissful - I was worried that darn ash cloud would get you, glad it didn't!

I feel quite optimistic about the new government, but I guess we'll see what happens! I can understand why people feel pessimistic or 'anti' certain parties - even if you agree with all their policies, you can't guarantee they'll fulfil their promises! With a choice that's (essentially) between three parties (depending on who you ask) then it's unlikely you'll agree outright with any of them, so I felt that I'd stick with my gut instincts and vote for the party whose general stance I agreed with. (And I don't like DC's waxy face either :) - I'm joking, but I'm shocked at the number of people I've heard who sound like they based their vote on the man and not the politics - wow!)

If we were going on looks it'd be Cleggy all the way, but I didn't let Gordon's funny eye or the way he lets his mouth gape open after ever sentence put me off! :)

I'm afraid I did! I probably wouldn't vote labour anyway (rich farming country round here, although I'm LD!) but I didn't even entertain it because he's so horrid looking; I hate his gaping mouth, it just looks like he's trying to suck up his answers from the air!

I noticed him doing that within the first couple minutes of the debates and I could not take my eyes off it!

But eww, no! Cleggys skin looks dead for a start! And he wears cheap suits - or at least cheap looking suits - and he didn't even brush his hair this morning. No Ta!

I'm with Tete. DC looks like a Madame Tussauds waxwork of a real person, Gordon Brown looks like a grandad. So on looks, Clegg. I'd never seen his wife before Thursday - he did well for himself she's stunning.

Same here - vote for Clegg (Oh, too late...) ;)

Cinny, you're being very tough on him! I'm with Dinah, at least he looks like a real human being :D

I'm not really being tough on him! Being tough would be if I said yellow really doesn't suit him. The hair, complexion and suit he can change. But he's stuck with yellow.

:rotfl: Love the judging on peoples looks - Gordon is quite possibly the ugliest man i have ever seen! Yucky yuck yuck.

In a bad mood this evening, got something wrong with the car again - not sure what it is yet (or more to the point how much its going to cost), taking it down to the garage tomorrow to see what the damage is. Wont be going to the same garage as last time - complete rip off! Sorry just had to come and vent!

Sorry about the car woes Flower, I hope it doesn't cost too much to sort!

I was watching the news last night and all I could think when I saw Mr Cameron was that he 'looks like a Madame Tussauds waxwork of a real person', thanks for that girls! I was hoping to like him at least a little, but now he's been ruined for me! Ah well, at least Cleggy should be in the pictures a fair bit too to make up for it!

Not good news about your car Flower, hope it doesn't cost too much to fix!

Does Cameron really have a waxy face?? I can't see it :o Both him and Clegg aren't really hard on the eyes but they just look like Dads to me!
