I only have 3 more to go, but I am hoping that I will not only clock the other 3 NSD's but also some more besides!

    Hi all,
Managed another NSD today, haven't set foot outside today at all, it's not nice out there :mad:.

Hugs to Souk08, sorry you didn't make it and good luck for the January challenge, we'll be with you all the way!

Well done to everyone with an NSD today (talking about Sunday, of course) and good luck to everyone for Monday.

  • NSD 12 for me yesterday. Today I need to go out and buy a new phone, sick of the constant buzzing on the line, the phone we have must be about 5 years old and only cost us £10 so I suppose we have had value for money! :D

Have a good day all, stay safe and warm xxx

....I need to go out and buy a new phone.... :D
I really must sort out a new battery for the moe-bill-ey & look at getting a cheapie corded phone for the house. I had one but some plonker decided to chuck it during an enthusiastic sort-out  Admittedly it was tucked under the little cabinet that stands by the phone socket, but that was so we knew where it was if there was a power cut & it would be simple enough to plug it in.....why can't other people leave me & my theories in peace sad-smiley-051.gif

Doing really badly this month so I declare myself out! Get paid on Wednesday and that starts Jan. Deffo going for it in the New Year and hope all the rest of you do better than me!
No you are not doing badly at all, because you've taken note of your spending patterns & that is the biggest hurdle in this particular Challenge. The fact that you want to take part is also a good sign so look on this as a training session; bit of a 'jumping in the SIZE=1]extremely[/SIZE deep end' one at that! Take a look at The List in a bit & keep reading here for a link to the new thread ;)

  • Work called to say 'Office closed' due to travel conditions. Snow not deep at all but lots of ice around. So am happy about that....but sadly it doesn't mean a day off as I have a laptop and internet connection (both paid for by 'kind' boss) so will still be putting in a days work. Hhmmm using my heating and leccy but no petrol for 40 mile journey. I usually get a free lunch as well at work! Ah well...........would rather be on the sofa today listening to festive tunes instead of the phone ringing.

    ........is it lunch time yet?
  • Achieved my 7th NSD yesterday. Only 4 more to go.

Just need one final push to reach the finish!!

  • Didn't spend a penny all weekend ( if you know what I mean) had the dreaded lurgy bug!!! Rather than at Christmas. Just returned from getting my fruit and veg. Have you noticed how the prices of fruit and veg go up just before Christmas? Grapes over £4 per kilo. Cherries £8 per kilo. Must have to win the Lottery to pay those prices. I did win with Ernie £25 though, just enough to pay for my fruit and veg.
Going to pick Holly and Ivy to make my Wreath and Table decorations. I won't tell you how much they are charging for a bunch of Holly.
