Hello everyone,
Managed another one today, mainly due to the weather, not going out in that, NO WAY.... last thing I want is a broken anything before Xmas and our road is like a skating rink :mad:. Bloomin' snow, stopping me from spending money - *runs off muttering darkly*
Sorry, stopped muttering now. Well done to everyone with an NSD today, hugs as usual to those who haven't managed it today.
Curlygirl, you are so right in saying that - a group of virtual 'identities' can actually come across as friendly and create a welcoming environment even in cyber-space - people on this forum are really friendly and welcoming.

13th of the month todayOn the up
Our wedding day! 13/06/150 -
After a slow month, we're really rocking now!! NSD 10 yesterday and no intention of spending a penny today either - which is prorbably just as well as Wednesday and Thursday aren't looking too pretty at the moment.
We'll definitely hit 13 this month - might go mad next month and up it to about 15/16. Just about the best budgeting idea I've heard and it's stopped me popping into places where I used to spend a fortune every day.
Thanks all and a very merry christmas.

Only managed my 5th NSD yesterday. I would have to not spend a single penny between now and 1/1/10 to hit my target which aint gonna happen as last bits of veg to get tomorrow and meal out on NYE. Think at least 10 NSD still achievable though.Save £10,500 - £2673.77 - 25.5%
Pay off £7000 - £1743 - 19.4%
Make £2021 extra income - £99.750 -

& I loathe the way flowers especially cost more around Mothers & Valentines Day. How little ones supposed to get a bunch of blooms with the prices they charge is a joke! I guess I notice it more as I buy roses for me Dad in Feb, FIL in April [& close to Easter] & of course MIL for Mothers Day. Last crimbo I had three red, 9 yellow & a pink rose [for BIL] & it was almost £40 so I'm afraid I've had to downgrade to carnations this year
One good thing is other family members take things up to the cemetery so there's always a good show; the not-so-good is a guaranteed spend on the 24th :undecided cuz my lovely local florist doesn't know the prices herself till the day.

....BillyDoes mean tho I have to face the ferocious throngs today to get me fruit & veg, but I'll go prepared wearing US footie gear :rotfl:SIZE=1]Can you tell I don't 'do' sales & crowds?[/SIZE

Not because it's funny (so no need to bother finding it) - it's just funny that I thought to post it as I didn't even mention NSD/SD it was just about me and my unexpected day at home probably because I was feeling a little lonely. It was as if I was making a flipping journal entry or texting my mates! I guess that's a reflection on how a group of virtual 'identities' can actually come across as friendly and create a welcoming environment even in cyber-space.
In my defence I think also because I was staying at home I viewed it as a super-NSD as I wasn't incurring petrol.
Anyway guys........just to confirm as I'm nearing the end of it - it's been an NSD today. And that's a bona-fide reason for posting on this thread  Feeling a little more relieved as I'm now in good position to meet my target this month. Hurrraghh.
Hope trishamggirl has managed to shrug off the dreaded lurgy!2. totally agree :T & 3. wot she sed^^^

Another no spender for me today. I was meant to be going to a carol service tonight which would have meant taking a metro and a bus (and spending!) but its still slippy and icey and bitterly cold out there, so I'm wrapping my prezzies instead. Just me, my chrimbo songs on spotify and some Baileys tonight.

I reached NSD number 7 today (and my target)! :j:j:j
Today wasn't too difficult because I stayed in again on account of the weather, but I'm going to have to brave it tomorrow I think. Still a few bits and bats to sort, and I need to pay bills & fill the car up with petrol before Christmas day, but I hope to squeeze in a couple of bonus days before NYE (fingers crossed).
I'm not sure if I'll manage to post on this thread before Christmas Day, so happy Christmas everyone! :beer:0
