Another 2 for me - not long to go now! (hmm Christmas Day should be a NSD unless Dr Dragon drags me kicking and screaming to the pub for a drink at lunchtime! :D)

  • An NSD for me today as sadly I'm house-bound. My driveway is accessed via an alley and last night my car got stuck half in and half out (I realised I was a bit stupid to try it in the first place). Tried rugs, salt and crying but nothing worked until an angel happened down it and he and his mate rolled my car in.

The ice in my drive and in the alley is like glass today so as I can work from home then that's what I'm doing. Trouble is I was meant to drop a few pressies off with people who will be having not-so-great xmas this year - hope to be able to do that tomorrow now. On the up note it means I'm not tempted to spend anywhere :D......although there is the shop across the road.........but just for emergencies!!

Isn't technology wonderful  ..thought the same when someone else mentioned still being able to work, only from home angry-smiley-013.gif
Had a shock in MrT yesterday as the only sliced bread available was well over £1:20 a loaf  I was going to treat the Offspring to a couple of value whites cuz they prefer that for their m@rmite sarnies but I'm balooga-ed I'm paying THAT much  One of the assistants said the volumn of own label stuff being delivered was very low & we both wondered if it was a deliberate ploy by the big wigs to force us into paying over the odds angry-smiley-005.gif

  • My aim today is to not leave the house and just sit about all day and watch tv. So should hopefully have another NSD by the end of it.
