No NSD for me today but tomorrow should be. Friday likely not, but i'm happy with my progress this month especially as most of my spends have been christmas pressies. :)

You could always go back to your childhood & make some stamps out of potatoes :p but it's good to see someone is considering taking this Challenge on as a New Years Resolution.

Hmmmm, think I'd probably get more paint over me and the room than on the paper, not to mention I'd probably cut my finger off cutting out the potato..... but good suggestion for anyone less clumsy than me :D:D

5th NSD for me today :j but tomorrow and Friday are going to be SSDs again :mad: and I have to renew my car insurance as well :mad::mad:.

Well done to anyone managing an NSD today, we'll get there, and hugs to anyone who didn't - there's always tomorrow.
:) The time you enjoy wasting is not wasted time :)
  • Cancelled out my NSD with a spend day. With tomorrow's SSD as well I'm aiming for another no spender on Friday with any luck. :D

  • I've spent un-necessary money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I was in Borders buying another Xmas pressie and returned on this 3rd visit (bought some great pressies on other trips) to the same section, the same shelf, the same book. £7.99 less 40% (£4.79). I was naffed off because I thought that by now it would have been down to 50%. All the books that had posed potential theats last week were gone. Phew. But this one remained. Grrrrrrrr. I walked away. Found the pressie. Went back had another look at it. A feel. Walked away and browsed for further pressie ideas. Went back and picked it up, walking around the store with it just trying it out to see how it felt (sooooooo goooood) and then feeling slight nauseous I went and bought it!

(It's still in cellophane - perhaps my OH can be persuaded that it will make an excellent Xmas pressie for me as well as the one he was instructed to buy me last week. Haaa Ha! Cunning plan)

Oh I love Borders and am so sorry to see it close down - the staff are still incredibly professional despite their jobs coming to an end. But they certainly weren't the cheapest and if I ever ever had that rare and mad thought 'hey, I'm going to treat myself to a brand new book' then it was usually an on-line and cheaper purchase. Borders was a place I could spend an hour if someone had given me a book token (even then I've been know to spend book tokens on buying presents for other people - Am not sure if that's immoral or not?).

Ah shut up curlygirl1971 and go to bed.

    Enjoy tomorrow everyone!
  • NSD number 4 for me yesterday =)
