Whilst I've every sympathy for the OP I can't understand how someone would want a specific model without knowing why ie. what equipment it does or doesn't have!

And they will ask you the exact same.

What proof do you have that he sold it to you as a priviledge model? This is what is important and answers "can I win"

Your receipt doesnt do that so unless you have other proof then no you cant win.

Your reciept says you bought NK04 WGX and that's what you drove home.

  • the key card wasnt working to unlock car when you walked up to it i changed battery still didnt work so went to my local renault dealer who told me it didnt have that and wasnt a privilege

You were happy with the car and the price you paid for it before you knew the bits were missing. The only issue of fraud is that they gave you a key card (a feature) that indicated a specification that they were not providing. You do have a chance in court but how great a chance I'm not sure. The issue revolves around the fact of what you were expecting for the price you paid --- if you were not aware that it should have a console in the middle, leather trim seats, 6 cd changer etc. etc. when you bought it then you weren't really "conned". "Conned" would be if you were told there was a console in the middle, leather trim seats, 6 cd changer etc. and then some of those items where not there after paying.

You weren't expecting those things otherwise you would have noticed before buying.

However, I do feel that some people in this thread are not giving sensitivity to your plight where at least a little is warranted.
I've been making animations for my daughter. Tell me what you think? Search for "Where are you Pickles?" and "Pickles and the Bully" on YouTube.

The advert is an invitation to deal and therefore not binding.

The conversation about the reg plate could be true and would probably strengthen the dealers side of it.

    Tbh Your going nowhere here.

And how do you think a solicitor would flower up "you ain't got a case"?

More to the point if its an import it may well have a keycard but just located elsewhere.

Some cars locate items in dubious locations.

Lower spec models still have a keycard just don't have handsfree entry/start.

Crappy french electrics probably means it wouldn't work even if it did have keyless entry. Less electrical gadgets the better on a renault imo.
