SOG says goods must be as described, if it was described as a privilege and it isn’t then you can reject it and get your money and associated costs back off the dealer

The internet is a very grey area when it comes to adverts. Someone could advertise a car as being gold plated, but when you got there to view it and it turned out be be beige, you wouldnt be able to do much about it. where as if it was advertised in a newspaper or magazine as being gold plated, then a gold plated car you'd expect. And you'd probably be able ti sue the pants off them.

How many cars do yo usee advertised on autotrader with the mileage as just 122, rather than 122,000...?

If Scenics of the same age, model, mileage were selling for 6000 and yours was 4500 then alarm bells should have started.

Probably a bit late now but HERE is a list of features on a UK supplied Scenic. As the dealer has told you it was an import the spec may well be different for a similar model. if the car was advertised as having "keyless operation" or other specific features, that it didn't have, you would be in a better position. It may well be a Privelige in France, even with the lower spec.
