Ignore the trolls, get the letter sent, and see if you can get trading standards involved. Are you with anyone like the AA, or the RAC, or anyone else that can give you free legal advise?

Ok ignore the CD changer because that could quite easily have been removed by a previous owner.

The RAID Alarm was standard on all meganes. Are you sure it doesnt have this?

The other three were only on the Priviledge version however its impossible to see the french equivalent of a priviledge. If it was on them you have little recourse.

I do sympathise, I once bought a car advertised with ABS that didn't have it. I did contact trading standards or consumer direct or whatever they are called and seems I did have a case but it was lots of hassle, so I decided not to bother. The dealer was 50 miles from me and he paid for some other little niggles that developed shortly after I bought the car and it turned out to be a little gem until my lad slammed it into the back of another car!! Would the ABS have helped? I suppose I'll never know but it taught me a lesson, check, check and check again, they need to sell cars more than i need to buy one!!

If the garage has a get out on the autotrader add.
ie Autotrader made a mistake.

The OP doesn't have a reciept for a privilege model. Where is her evidence she was missold the car?

Or do you wish to expand on that given your legal training?

And they will ask you the exact same.

What proof do you have that he sold it to you as a priviledge model? This is what is important and answers "can I win"

Your receipt doesnt do that so unless you have other proof then no you cant win.

i have the advert that the garage put on auto trader where he advertised it as a privielge top of the range he also informed me that when he placed the advert auto trader had the car come up as a privilege.... when i sold my car i had a drop down menu to choose from but dont no if different if your selling as a dealer?
