technology is an issue
mobile phone networks and sellers need more to enforce the usage of handsfree equipment
its all wel buying a phone but what about mention the use of bluetooth when buying, or includign it as part of a deal..the costs have decreased from the basic bluetooth costing £5 and upwards..surely thsi should be mandatory now in the sale
technology also is an issue, if you get an incoming call, you need to switch on the bluetooth on the phone and activiate the handsfree..a simpler process should be available.
im not agreeing with the behaviours of drivers esp. with children but its not just drivers that are the issue
when was the last time you used a bluetooth device? bluetooth stereos automatically pair as soon as your within receiving distance, i can answer my phone from my car when my phone is several metres away.
and as for madatory purchasing of bluetooth equiptment...:rotfl:...work permit granted!0 -
no they really enrage me as well, especially the ones driving in the dark with no lights on. plus i once followed a middle-aged woman (40-50) driving a white audi Q7 at 60mph, for 22 miles down the m62, she was on her phone all the time.
its possible to get signal jammers for cell devices, i don't understand why they are not built into cars, so they kick in as soon as the ignition is started. therefore you cannot use a phone whilst driving. i realise there are small reasons why this isn't currently practical (i.e. passenger on the phone, breaking down on hardshoulder, etc.) but it is an ide.
so for 22 miles you were watching the woman in the car on her phone. due care and attention you say?
im being attacked in my car,but can't call anyone for help due to the bloddy phone signal scrambler....work permit granted!0 -

i hope they get disciplinary action for it, may make them think about their job..maybe not!
you sad pathetic excuse for a human. you hope they get disciplinary on your lone word? get a life and mind your own business.
my company gets calls all the time from folk like you, my boss doesn't actually care what you have to say about our driving or what we do while we drive,so he acts as if he cares, tells you something will be done about, then he tells everyone else and we all have right good laugh at how many sad pathetic folk out there think they are the police.
next time you call a company why don't you offer your number to the other driver so you can personally tell them what you think?
sad,sad,sad. :rotfl:...work permit granted!0 -

Its a bit like the stupid police signs on motorways that say "accident here on such and such a date were you a witness? Call 0873263465131" No i wasn't but the !!!!!! in front of me almost caused another one trying to read this.

He might do after one of his drivers kills a kid whilst driving badly enough for a member of the public to complain. I've never called a company about the terrible driving of one of their employees, but when companies put adverts on their vans and then their drivers act like !!!!! on the road, is it any wonder people ring up with complaints?0 -

we don't. if it was up to me we would all have stickers saying, hows my driving? call 0800 eat !!!!!! and die.
i think the driver would be more concerned if they killed a kid ( its always the kids, why is that?)
a woman called to complain about my driving, i over took her on the inside after sitting behind her for 3 miles at 55mph in a 70 without any sign of her moving in,she then speeds up chasing me,unknown to me at the time she is calling my work commentating on my driving. when i got to work the next day my boss let me listen to the message it was hilarious, she was going on about my poor driving, when she was in the wrong lane causing a huge tail back then she picks up her mobile to dial in my works number and then calls it,and also she breaks the speed limit to keep up with me, i was speachless when i came off the phone, i couldn't beleive she never seen the irony! we did all have a right good laugh at her though....work permit granted!0 -
How do they know who to call if you don't have ads on your vans?
Doesn't have to be kids, replace them with any vulnerable member of society or a dog or kitten or something. The point was, your boss wont like the bad publicity and it doesn't make great business sense to encourage bad driving in his employees.0 -

Along with those people who alter their numberplates to read like something else because they cannot afford the real deal.
And last but not least those people who feel taking uptwo car park spaces is ok becasue their oversized 4x4 doesn't fit into one space.
It would be nice to submit this to an email address, backed up with location, time, description etc and when the person gets a fine sent to them that you will actually be getting 50% of it in your pocket.
It wont take long before people change their ways.
Its a pity that the majority of the great British public do not show similar dedication and diligence when it comes to more serious crime.
i.e reporting/witnessing and producing evidence for crimes which they are aware of or witness. Instead, many choose to look away and walk on or draw the curtains.
Mustnt help the Police..let the scroats rule the streets as long as they are not bothering me..
but oh...see some person munching a chocolate bar whilst driving...snappety snap..grass em up..
easy target you see..
How many have actually approached/challenged a scrote and/or fingered someone/provided evidence for prosecution?Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0 -

Oh but they are .."specially trained"..in the same way as they are specially trained to speed, drive whilst chomping a bacon muffin and speak to ordinary members of the public in an overbearing and arrogant fashion.Ditto, when watching these police docs, can any one explain how the police get away with using their radios while driving.
Nobody else can be specially trained to do this, only coppers:rolleyes:Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0 -
I was going to comment on that if you cant driver properly and use a phone your not fit to drive and defiantly shouldn't have passengers who you can also chat to in the car.
However after coming home on the M25 last night and finding some !!!! doing 40mph in lane 3 whilst wandering in and out of lane 2 by 2-3 feet i will let you guess what they where doing ....
burn them, burn them all0
