Nice of then to let you know.
apparently it said in the letter they sent out with all the years timesheets in them. however i do mine online so didn't get the letter.
had a dentist appt today. i don't like the dentist just making the appt makes me feel sick but we're trying to teach DD why it's important to brush your teeth and look after them so going to the dentist was a must. having to stay calm so that she remained calm really worked for me and it wasn't as bad as i thought it would be. DD actually enjoyed it too as the dentist was very child friendly. DD couldn't wait to go home and tell daddy all about the "magic chair" and show him her sticker. i need one of my wisdom teeth out but apart from that it was okay.
my sister is coming home for the weekend tomorrow. will be nice to see her although i'm working all weekend so won't actually see that much of her.
i've been looking at my spreadsheet and i spent way too much in march so really need to cut the unnecessary spending back this month. i think i'm going to give DH a spending diary too to keep his spending in check.Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Been a while since I've posted here. Lots going on. We're in the middle of buying a house. In fact we should complete next friday. Can't wait to have our own space again. Also got a promotion at work although it doesn't come into effect til 30th august which is a bit gutting cos it's quite a good pay rise. Starting on the 30th august makes it the September timesheet which we don't get paid for until October. I'm sure that's why they've done it. To put off giving me the pay rise as long as possible.Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000

Got our completion date today. It's not next Friday like we thought. It'll be a week on Monday. Obviously the vendor wants the weekend to move. It's a bit annoying though as DH was off that weekend giving us time to paint and stuff before going to get our stuff from storage. He'll have to do some stuff in the evenings and I'll go down on my own to get things done. Yay to our own spaceGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000

Got quite a bit of sorting done today. Earlier on you would have thought a bomb had exploded in the middle of our room but there is def less boxes with stuff in them which is odd as we are packing to move! We've been living out of boxes for probably close to 18 months now and I don't know what was in most of them hence the sorting today. Emptied a few boxes and sorted a lot of stuff. Still got quite a bit more to go but I don't think it's that urgent now. I've done most of it. A lot of sorting will get done when we start unpacking after we've moved
Off to pick up DD from nursery now bye xGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Exchange of contracts should happen today ready for completion on monday. I cant wait for our own house now. I rang the estate agents before about collecting the keys on monday and the woman was really off. "i worked in a solicitors for over 10 years so couldn't possibly give you any information about the release of the keys" stupid woman. i rang the solicitors instead and they were really helpful. stupid estate agents.
dyed my hair today. i made DH do it before he went to work. i need nice hair ready for the move. not sure why but it helps!
we took DD out rafting and kayaking yesterday. she loved it. she's been asking to go for a while, ever since she realised what DH did for work (he's a raft guide). I thought she was a bit young but she absolutely loved it yesterday and has already asked when she can go again. looks like there's another water lover in the family.Goals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Exchange of contracts didn't happen yesterday. Had an awful day. The solicitor rang me at 3.30 to tell me that the bank had pulled our mortgage cos they were missing some paperwork! They wanted to write to my employer to check my income cos it changes each month. When we applied for the mortgage they asked for it and when our financial advisor queried it the guy said no problem I've sorted it. Well apparently he wasn't allowed to do that but no one told us so I ended up crying down the phone to payroll at work asking them to fax through the confirmation of my income to the bank. I was so gutted. Luckily after some harsh words from our solicitors and the fax from payroll the bank finally released the funds. So we are still on track to complete on Monday
I have quite a few grey hairs now thoughGoals for FebruaryDeclutter 2/50Money Made £0/£200Overpayments £0/£2000 -
Oh that's awful - after you've been waiting for your house so long too.
:(:(
What a relief it can still go ahead. Roll on Monday! I'm excited for you! What's the new house like?Miggy
