One hopes that when OP visited the Cop Shop today, they did not arrest him for some other misdemeanour. I await his chapter and verse on his innocence, driving skills and the catholic religion. One hopes his bodyguard (sic witness) has not done something stupid with the custody sergeant.

I could be wrong, but when I did my advanced a few years ago, I understand the answer to your second question "What do steady red and amber lights on a traffic light mean" is be prepared/get ready to set off.
I did the IAM Advanced motorist test some years ago but, from memory, they never asked any questions about the Highway Code. I think other organisations also have an advanced driving test (ROSPA?).0 -
