It is what happens when you cannot get a Job at 16!
1978 entrance to accountancy 'O-Levels', leave school at 16, get an appenticehip or similar, and the ONC/D HNC/D route. Banks in them days did not need anything more!
Today, one has to jump a Red light!0 -

Obviously you ran a red light because you knew lightning would not strike you down on the spot.

Probably OP studying Barrack Room law and bean counting. One is useful for getting on his high horse of self righteousness, the other is to count up to how high his fine is going to go!
The OP fears nothingone was just wondering what other statements could be made to cause a tad more controversy.

Well lets talk about stupid and educated for a moment shall we?
Can an intectual and educated person honestly believe that some ghost in the sky is going to save us and let us live forever in a heavely realm just because it says so in a book?
I include all religions from Catholic to Islam and sikhism to buddhism. Of course the delusion is fine if it helps you feel in peace and is a comfort to your mortality. (And no I do not believe that all Muslims are terrorists at all and I don't believe all priests are sex offenders).
But all these religions mentioned have been on the news for the wrong resons within the past 12 months. Each involved in mass violent crime for the sake of their religion. Surely not is not the purpose of religion, but global war and civil war is often a result of religion, that was my point. If you wish in this world to advance, your merits you're bound to enhance; You must stir it and stump it, and blow your own trumpet, or trust me, you haven't a chance.0 -

I have a job as well as study at university, so that comment is flawed immediately. A very important job as that working with young people is residential care.
Today we have a much more intellectual work force, if you don't get a degree today you will never get further than a dead end job.
And I will give myself credit, at least I have not been sucked into the welfere state, being drip fed and sponging for everything that I can get and breeding kids, smoking and drinking until early hours of the morning. If you wish in this world to advance, your merits you're bound to enhance; You must stir it and stump it, and blow your own trumpet, or trust me, you haven't a chance.0 -
Getting back on track OP, what did the legal person say at Uni today - if you remember you were going to ask for some advice and tell us all about it?0

However may I ask, if it was concidered dangerous, surely the police who followed behind me at the lights were putting drivers at an even higher risk as he blatantly went over on red to follow me and pull me over. So it would seem the police had more interest in issuing a fine that they had interest of other road users safety.
But this is not the issue. The issue is how can I avoid my summons to court when I am willing to accept the points and pay the fine?
ouch!!! the lights were on amber when i accelerated????, do you actually know what those amber lights mean??, the green means go. the amber means stop if its safe to do so. , they certainly dont mean speed up!!
not petty at all, drivers like yourself are just another reason why the death rate on british roads are so high!!!, but as for the police not being able to take your details without the producer, now that does sound a little silly. but as previous posts have said, the courts will throw it out when you prove you have attended the station before your producer expired0 -

Oh yes,
I spoke to her and she pretty much repeated the information advised earlier to me in this forum. She asked if I had any evidence of my visit to the police station. I told her that I hadn't and she advised me to go back with somebody who would be a witness for me if needed. She had never come accross this situatin before and could not advise any more than that. So I really should go to the police station again. So I will try and get someody to come with me tomorrow.
She also found it strange that they couldn't do it without the producer. She said the producer was mainly for my information. It is a form of contract to which I had a copy and the police had a copy. But it was not an area where she specialised. If you wish in this world to advance, your merits you're bound to enhance; You must stir it and stump it, and blow your own trumpet, or trust me, you haven't a chance.0 -

Again another member has mentioned that I need to prove it. If I have any sense at all I will get myself down the station tomorrow with a friend! If you wish in this world to advance, your merits you're bound to enhance; You must stir it and stump it, and blow your own trumpet, or trust me, you haven't a chance.0
