I have lost mates from risk taking too, but when it's the real safety riders, the family guys not the hotheads you find yourself asking why? We lost one guy to a red light jumper who shunted him into the path of an HGV lorry coming the other way, one guy died of complications after a saab just about went over him, one guy in a wheelchair now from a similar accident. It's not trivial by any means. I do drive as well as ride my bikes - I am too old for everyday riding in a Scottish winter now.
Sorry for your losses. Genuinely. your not too old to ride in the Scottisch winter, just put some long johns on under your kiltIf you wish in this world to advance, your merits you're bound to enhance; You must stir it and stump it, and blow your own trumpet, or trust me, you haven't a chance.0 -

I was being serious. Whenever a new version comes out I buy two copies. I keep one in the car and one on the bookshelf.
Two favourite questions in Highway Code quizzes are:
1. WHAT DOES A STEADY AMBER LIGHT on a traffic light mean?
2. WHAT DO STEADY RED AND AMBER LIGHTS on a traffic light mean?
The only CORRECT answer to both questions is STOP!0 -

I could be wrong, but when I did my advanced a few years ago, I understand the answer to your second question "What do steady red and amber lights on a traffic light mean" is be prepared/get ready to set off.0 -
I am disgusted with OP, they dont seem to be able to comprehend how stupid they are being in regards to this. Just cracking jokes and sending insults in all directions.0

I know, what has the world come to, how dare somebody make light of a situation and have a positive attitude. He should sit in the naughty corner and think about what he has done. He should strike himself every night with 10 lashes of a leather belt for at least a month.
I hold my head in shame, how long must I punish myself for?If you wish in this world to advance, your merits you're bound to enhance; You must stir it and stump it, and blow your own trumpet, or trust me, you haven't a chance.0 -

I know yeah, donkeys are fantastic stand up comedians and oh my god the disgusting insults they come out with at times, makes me shudder.
Do trolls actually exist? I'm sure if they did I may have run over one by now on my way through these red lights. But then again they live under bridges don't they?
Idiot, okay I will let you have that one :TIf you wish in this world to advance, your merits you're bound to enhance; You must stir it and stump it, and blow your own trumpet, or trust me, you haven't a chance.0 -

Still loved, still missed and very dear

Deep_Ocean wrote: »Thanks for the advice. I will just pop up to my tutor now and inform her of my change in direction, I will write to the student loans company and ask if they will honour my loan to pursue an advanced driving course.
However before I do this I will write to pope and put in an argument for you. Cos of course it seems we have a saint on our hands here. This has to be acknowledged. :T:T:T U must be very proud:T:T:T
Best you use your student loan to pay the fine first and postage to Swansea to put your points on boy.
As for the Pope, he listens to me, so your visit to Rome is not required, so saving some of your Student Loan to pay for the Advanced Driving Course0
