So far we have
- booked the venue and paid a deposit
- booked the registrar and paid a deposit
- bought wedding insurance
- booked the appointment to see the registrar to book the date (not paid yet, going in a couple of weeks)
also had a vague look at dresses / invites etc but nothing solid yet.
Good going! I'm vaguely looking at everything at the moment. Might go and look at the church tomorrow and have a chat but I'm really nervous about it!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
Primula, yes you're right I can have it gone in no tine, just need to discipline myself again.
Jellie I was nervous when we were viewing venues etc but they're very friendly so try not to worry. I made a template for my invitations last night and am quite pleased with the size. Very mse style I can get two from one sheet of A3 card so now need to work out how to make the envelopes and away we go.
Thanks Wendz.0 -
I've spent the afternoon doing absolutely nothing laying on a chair in the garden! It was bliss! I had to help out at work this morning, so this was a welcome break this afternoon.
I have stuck to the meal plan so far this week and made a vegetable curry for dinner tonight. No-one complained so need to get the chicken out for tomorrow lunch and then we're at a bbq tomorrow afternoon.
I just won £5 on willhill vegas games on a stake returned promo, but won so am a fver up. That's a welcome addition to my extra earnings.0 -

Whilst dd has been with her granny this afternoon I have been going through her toys. Some have been prepared for ebay this evening and some have gone to the bin / charity shop.
I am going to see how much of her birthday can be money neutral through selling her old bits and pieces.
Other than that nothing exciting to report. Spent £180 this morning on Oh's car
Credit card will rise a bit due to that, and nothing exciting in sadly.0 -
Cars are so expensive grrr!
You are being very organised sorting your daighters toys out, hope you manage to make a bit of money and at least you will have some space until she gets some more.0 -
