Hope the rain holids off for the garden stuff. Sounds like some good stuff you are going to grow!
Have a great day.0 -
We've had quite a productive day today, been to shops and bought new mop, bucket, laundry basket, cat food dishes, etc and thrown out all the old ones that were really past their time.
Me and dd2 planted some chilli, carrot and spring onion seeds, so we'll see what they do.
We've also removed an old camera and camcorder from the house to my brother, so defintely more has been removed than brought in today which is always the plan.
Tonight is budget night in our house. We really need to get a grip on this to achieve everything we want from this life, and I want to be more organised with everything.0 -
Hiya
Wow, I am impressed, you have had a busy day. I had a bit of a lazy one, but tomorrow is another day! Keep meaning to ask you, how's your tooth now?

Tooth doesn't bother me on a day to dat basis as long as I don't touch the area near it outside on my face or bite down on it. Still waiting for a hospital appt for it.
Done the budgets and tweaked a couple of bits. Day to day we're fine, but with a wedding to pay for then we really need to save / make extra, so need to get my thinking cap on again very soon.0 -
Sounds like a very constructive day for you.
We will all have to get thinking for some ideas to make money for the wedding for you.0 -
Thanks Wendz. I'm just going to have to get better at finding all these offers and glitches aren't I. Of course will let everyone else know if I find anything.
I have lots on ebay ending today, only one bid so far but will just keep relisting them. Have two large toys from DD that went on due to the free listing. Doesn't look like they will sell so they will go into Netmums and freeads tonight after the auctions end.
Today we have a party to go to for DD2. I bought a cheap card and present was only a fiver. I found some boys wrapping paper in the house which was odd, but saved some money.
Have written a Dooyoo this morning which should take me to cheque payout. That'll be nice.0 -
Still waiting for Dooyoo points to validate, but got £7.10 from TCB today and saved £43.50 on nursery bill this month, so chucked that in the wedding pot. It was also payday today so chucked a little bit more over.
Have to pay to register the date (or whatever it's called) in April so that will cost aout £80. I'll try and just pay that from my account though so we don't have to dip into the savings and I can tick something off the list etc.
Am on a first aid course this week. It's great not having to go to work, but my brain goes to mush by the afternoon. Really tired tonight, but haven't spent any money today.0 -
Just redeemed my dooyoo cheque today so that should be with me in April.
I managed to run 3k today after my course. I was pleased as I didn't really want to go to the gym.
Off into work for a bit tonight for some extra money. Anything helps, and I got to pick my hours so that was good.
First aid test tomorrow. I hate the practicals, I always panic, but I'm sure it'll be fine.0 -
Yay for dooyoo cheque, that is brilliant work.
Well done for the run. I am so unmotivated for that sort of thing so am in awe of antyone who does it.
Good luck for the test.0 -
I was so worried about the test all morning but it was fine, don't know why I worried!
Withdrawn £20 from Paypal today which is great but just booked my car in for MOT and OH's car in for a wheel bearing so more money spent out again.
OH also did the shopping today and has bought joints of meat or crap that only he eats. He of course can't see the problem, but there is nothing in the freezer that I want that wont cook inless than 2 hours! Men!
Having a glass on wine tonight, it's my Friday today as I'm working the weekend.0
