I used to post on the declutter thread. My house is really doing my head in at the mo, so I have decided that anything that comes into the house from now on, the same amount plus one more item has to leave the house. The only exception in this is the food shopping as that can't be helped.
IN:
OUT: - 2 ebay parcels
I'll update this later as the day progresses. There will have to be something else leaving as I need to buy more socks today.0 -
OMG 14 things have come into my house today. Some not bought by me, but they're now in my house all the same.
So far I have got rid of
- 2 parcels
- 1 suitcase back to it's owner
- 1 old sheet out to the bin
- 1 old makeup case to the bin
still need to find more to leave the house though
- 1 more cd out with OH's Mum0 -
Nothing came in or went out yesterday. Today nothing has come in but I went through my little basket of travel smellies in the bathroom this morning and chucked out a good handful. I also threw out a large old towel that was annoying me.
Oh and posted a sock pet parcel that I sold last night as well
I need to get a hold on the shopping a bit better I think. By keeping the cost down we're running out too quickly and then we're spending more at the shops and buying extras we don't need, so really not helping by spending less.
I did a Sainsburys shop this week as they emailed me a £10 off code so that was nice, saved a bit there, but I bet I missed stuff. Need to get more organised.0 -

The clutter idea is a good one.Must be tough finding all the things to leave the house but good to not clutter it up anymore.0 -

I know
It's been a busy week.0 -
So it's Saturday and plans for the day include going to the library, getting my garden ready for planting if the rain stays off. This year I am attempting carrots, potatoes, chilli and spring onions I think.
I am also going to rework all the budgets and start budgeting properly so I don't keep dipping into the credit card for extras.
If I'm feeling really great later then I may even have a look for some lovely snacks to cook to get into the habit again.0
