Where did the weekend go? It feels like Sunday tonight and I'm all out of sync.
I have managed to sell four items on ebay this weekend and also gained some extra money from work for going in as overtime last week.0 -
Someone said to me at the weekend to round my bank account down to the nearest £ and leave it in a different account. I haven't got a different account at the mo, so put it towards the savings. Today is 17p lol, but it will all help.0

That's a great idea Yukki - I might steal it!
Sounds like you've been super-busy this past couple of weeks, well done with all the ebaying and budgeting.

Thanks dfsd, I'm really trying. I have my goals now need to work out how to achieve them.
I'm really trying hard with food. Dinner is in the slow cooker, was a cheap lamb joint from sainsburys, but I have just picked it apart and there's not too much meat on there, but never mind will still make a meal.
I've got three teenage girls in the house this afternoon and this seems to give my daughter a green light for acting like a spoilt brat! I am trying to stay out of their way.
Went to the gym earlier and ran 3k. Need to up this soon though.
Oh and planted my first lot of potatoes this afternoon.0 -
Car is in for it's MOT today, hoping it just sails through (it should).0

Car has passed, been collected and paid for. Just checked my credit card balance and it has £1k on it.Not happy! £550 of that is wedding bits, but the rest is mine or bits we have bought for the house.
Priority is to get this balance gone again!0 -
Glad the car passed. Can't wait to find out all your wedding plans! What have you sorted out so far??2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0

So far we have
- booked the venue and paid a deposit
- booked the registrar and paid a deposit
- bought wedding insurance
- booked the appointment to see the registrar to book the date (not paid yet, going in a couple of weeks)
also had a vague look at dresses / invites etc but nothing solid yet.0 -
Sounds like the wedding planning is going along nicely!
I am sure you will get that credit card paid off in no time.0 -
Yeah, I agree with Jellie, remember how well you did with your car loan, you just need to find that motivation again y_b and you'll be paying the card off in no time. It's so annoying how easy it builds up though isn't it.0
