Completed a cp survey for £2 tonight and playing through a £2 bonus on paddypowerbingo.
We're getting half a pig tomorrow for about £40. Will keep us going for ages, but need to meal plan around it and think of exciting recipes0 -
There really is something about eating fresh meat rather than meat that you're not quite sure how long it's been sat on the supermarket shelves for etc.
Two freezers packed so hopefully no food shopping needed this week apart from fresh bits.
Starting to worry now that we wont meet the target for wedding savings. We HAVE to find an extra £300 per month to meet target and that's without paying off the credit card.0 -
£6.38 received from Ciao this monring and rounded the account down by 32p.
My account is looking a bit dire and we have the wedding date to book on saturday with the registrar, so may have to dip into wedding savings for that one. I know that's the idea, but I was trying to just pay for it so it was less to save for iyswim.
Got a few things on ebay ending later, so far one is selling, hope another couple will as well. I am going to try and get a few more bits on later.0 -
Couple of bits sold on ebay the other day relisted the bits that didn't sell. I am going to list some wii games at the weekend that we don't use. I fugure the cause has to be better than them sitting on the shelf gathering dust. I have been rounding down my bank account by pence every day and chucking it into savings, but will be using some of those on Saturday as we are seeing the registrar to book the date.0

Was wondering what to have for dinner tonight at work, and have just managed to rescue some veg in the fridge and rustling up a veggie curry. Aren't I good. Perhaps I wont spend any money today, that would be good.0

Well yesterday we saw the registrar and registered our notice to get married next year. That's it we're all legal now until the big day. It's a bit more paid which is nice.
Not really getting anything done moneymaking at the moment, I don't seem to have any ideas, and not much tat left to ebay.0 -
so to save the rest for the wedding venue bill and pay off the cc I need £1500. Would like this done asap so we can focus on nice wedding payments lol. Any suggestions?!0

I put £50 towards the wedding savings now. Once the venue balance is in savings, I can then tackle the credit card and then buy nice things for the wedding.
I keep seeing things I want but am refraining from buying at the mo. I want to get the kids personalised party bags and fill with nice things to entertain them.
Went for a run this afternoon and managed 3.5k but my legs are killing me now.
I took two small pieces of pork and put it in the slow cooker this morning with a tin of bacon and lentil soup. It looked awful this morning and not very edible, but after som trimming of the fat once half cooked, the meat has turned out to taste and look really nice. Very soft and almost melt in the mouth. I wouldn't put a tin of lentil soup in again as it didn;t look nice to start with but plenty of other options for flavour ideas.
I have a tub of ben and jerrys on the way, need something nice tonight, but I have also signed up for another mystery shopping company, so may be another avenue.0 -
72p to the savings today and £5 to the credit card.
I'm taking left over vegetable curry and naan bread to work for diner later, so will stay away from the shop.
One thing ending on ebay later, must have a scout round for some more of dd's old bits and pieces I think.
I was going to buy some invites for dd's birthday in June from Ebay and then I asked myself why I wasn't doing them myself. So that's what I'm going to do. Will save me about a tenner as she wants Peppa pig and there seems to be a premium on Peppa pig.0 -
We got the official notice and bill from the registrar today so that's all done and we're legal. Just have to pay the balance by Jan 2011, so loads of time on that one.
Three ebay sales tonight, all small, but when they have paid I will withdraw the balance and add it to the savings.
I also opened my wage slip today and my tax code must have changed slightly as I am £15 better off this month. Another £15 to go in the savings which is good.
It really is all the the little bits of money that make the difference and help along the way.
I haven't spent any money today either.0
