My working week is over. I had four items end on ebay tonight, four sold, some for more than I thought a couple for pathetic amounts, still I have to look at the bigger picture and see it as decluttering as well.
Listed another 10 items on tonight as it's free listing weekend, just hope some of them sell.0 -
I hate it when you have loads of money going out for things, I do find though that you tend to look after your money a bit better though.
Good luck with the ebay items!0 -
thanks wendz.
two cd's sold tonight, pennies but all helps0 -
I managed to work all last week without going to the shop once. I was very pleased with myself, and went to work yesterday without visiting the shop. Today I plan on taking a frozen veg curry from the freezer. Trouble with that is that it doesn't fill me up for very long.
Will have to go to the shop and buy some breakfast bars as am on an early shift tomorrow at work.
Money situation is quite bad this month, but it can't be helped with two birthdays, a dentist appt blah blah.0 -
I've had a mass cooking fest this morning with dd2. We made flapjacks and cakes together then I cooked some sausage rolls, and a risotto. I'll take risotto to work tonight and then sausage rolls for lunch tomorrow.
This money saving is hard work, but will be worth it in the end.0 -
Flapjacks were so nice.
Tax credits renewal has been done and we got a small overpayment which has helped me reach my target a bit quicker.
I have been looking at dresses and fallen in love with this one

(hope OH never looks here)
It's a bit out of my price range (and that's when I can find a price for it). There is a second one I like

and can find a copy of this on ebay which is an option.
Soooo my next mission is to save for my dress
DD is being a pain in the wotsit today, think she will be having an early night tonight.0 -

I've spent a fortune over the last couple of days. OH is off so we're out more but it's also dd1's birthday today so she's had pressied, cake, takeaway etc which costs, and then dd2's birthday in a couple of weeks which is more money.
Did sell her quad bike today (indoor plastic one) for £15 so happy with that. Will put that towards the credit card that has taken a bashing this week.0
