It is going to be a tight month for me too, is depressing when most your money goes out as soon as you have been paid isn't it. WE can struggle through together.
Cars are such a nightmare, they cost so much. Hope you can sort the tyres out for not too much money.0 -
Thanks Primula, and thankyou for the kind words on my blog x
Hope so Maria, but we'll see, not optimitic about the car but it's something we need so we'll have to pay for it.
It's going to be a long month lol Wendz, already thinking about what's for dinner tomorrow so I can get it out of the freezer in the morning.0 -
I've enjoyed reading your blog too - you are such a good writer - definitely aim for your book one day.
P.S. These bags for shopping look fab! I want one!0 -
Primula those bags are lovely.
Lady came this morning and bought some of DD's old toys so that's £25 to the pot or towards a new tyre or something which will help.
£10 received from pp today from bingo offer I did last week, and I just did the will hill offer so waiting for my £5 to be returned to me and I should be £4 up.
Mince is out of the freezer and I will think of something to cook with it later.
Going to start decluttering later this afternoon as am sick of the house being overflowed as well as messy.0 -
Thanks again for your message re the bags.
And well done on your sales, that's excellent. I read on here someone (i have a blank with their name, sorry whoever it is!) keeps a notebook and writes doen every night what they want to achieve for the next day so I am going to give this a shot. I have been and bought a page a day diary today and plan to do my To Do Lists in there, including my meal planning etc to see how I get on. I have done today's already and still have loads to do!! hee hee.
Have a great new year.

Well the start of a new year, a new outlook and hopefully a positive year for all.
This year we are going to
- get married
- build the emergency savings
- do some house improvements
- buy passports so we can have a holiday next year.
We have some serious saving money and making money to do to achieve this, so will be having to be careful with money.
I have withdraw about a tenner from a couple of sites this morning so that's on its way to me. I also sold a BIN this morning for £15 so that's a good start and transferred £3.48 from my account to savings lol.
I need to go through the kitchen today and see what food we have to use some stuff us as well as save money in January. Hopefully can get into a new routine of food and save through the year.0 -
