Roofers haven't showed. We have had to chase them and the job wont be done today, not sure why yet. We have to use them though as they are knocking money off from the temp repair if we use them for the job.
Sorted through dd's toys and put some ads in the freeads, so here's hoping we have some interest. Am about to list some bits on ebay so we'll see.0 -
I've sold 2 BIN overnight which is a great start. Just listed a few 99p starts and another BIN, so hopefully generate something. Will list some more 99p starts later.
My relatinship with bingo britain has come to an endand I shall miss it terribly. Just waiting for the last lot of winnings to come back to the bank account.

Good work on the eBay stuff YB - that's good progress. Makes it easier to motivate yourself to do the listings if things are actually selling doesn't it.
Boo to roofers not turning up though - how annoying. Do you think they are mucking you about because they know your hands are tied about using them?🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Thankks guys.
I hope not EH but you never know. I'm always skepitacal of tradesman rightly or wrongly. Apparently it'll be done saturday unless the weather is too bad then it'll be monday or tuesday.
If they mess us about too much I'll go to every website about them and their details on and leave bad feedback about them after the job is done, and we'll be checking the work.
Managed to withdraw £40 from tcb this afternoon. We might just get through January with these bills yet, but I had forgotten about OH's MOT lol, it's always coming at me.0 -
Payday today, but nothing to get excited about as most of it has gone straight back out again. The budget is going to be quite tight next month, but we'll get through it. It's a good excuse to use up some of the bits from the freezer that have been lurking.
I have pizza dough rising at the mo, need to go and make some cook mine and then drop dd off at her granny's and then get to work for lunch time.
Have a good one!0 -
Hope your builders turn up before too long - mind you I expect a lot will depend on the weather. Thinking about the usual new year's resolutions and my main one is to keep being good with the money, but to improve with the food shopping/meal planning. You are always so good with your meal planning y-b I need to take a leaf out of your book me thinks! Hope all is well and a good new year to you and your family

Thanks Prim good to see you on here again. Hope things are well with you.
We had our third run of bad luck today. OH got to work and parked and then heard air hissing from a tyre. It went flat and when he took it off he realised it had a big split in it. He was so lucky not to have a blow out whilst driving.
So that's new tyres we need, he is paranoid rightly so so if any are worn he wants to replace them.
I will not go back into debt, I will not go back into debt, I will not go back into debt.
On a plus point, I had listed some bits in the free ads, and today decided to put some on my local netmums site as well. Had a call about two bits and someone coming to look at them tomorrow, so fingers crossed. Only a few quid but better than nothing.0 -
Thanks y-b, we are all doing ok, thank you for asking.
Gosh, it never rains but it pours financially though does it. How annoying about the tyre, but if anyone can make savings, then it's you. It's just so annoying when you think you are getting somewhere and then wallop something happens that wants money thrown at it, especially at this time of the year. But, when it's fixed, it's fixed. Good luck with your sales.0 -
Oh no at least he was parked up when it went flat like you said. Hopefully the rest arent worn and you can just buy the one.Make £5 a day JAN £121/175 FEB £283/175:jWeekly Grocery budget of £35! Jan £95.05/175 Feb £37.53/1750
