Merry Christmas! Glad to see you all had a great day. We enjoyed our day too and today I am just sooooooo lazy but trying desperately hard to stay away from the sales, mind you the snow is helping! Did OH like his prezzie you worked so hard for?0

Glad everyone enjoyed their days. Today was a bit harder as the inlaws are always difficult. OH's mum gave dd2 her presies and then made comments about them staying at her house! You don't give a 2 year old a toy and then not let her take it home! OH stepped in quickly and said of course she can take them all home.
She asked me later if I had room for everything at home! I shouldn't moan but DD wouldn;t understand that, and I don't think you give a present to almost take it away or let play with on a part time basis.
Still the day was good overall.
Primula, OH LOVED his present, and he had no idea he was getting it which was great. The old camcorder died during stocking opening time and he was gutted that he wasn't going to be able to record DD during the day. hehehe0 -
Glad your OH loved the pressie, sounds like great timing for it as well!
I think things can always be a bit awkward with the famiy. I agree you definitely can't take a toy away from a 2 year old after giving them it!
My Ohs niece loves the phonics thing we bought her, think we heard the alphabet song about 100 times this afternoon haha.0 -

Did you put a spell on the old camcorder then?! Perfect timing right enough!
Oh, and silly granny expecting a wee one to leave a present behind. Silly woman!0 -
I know some people are odd lol. I'm sure she thinks I'm odd too but I wouldn't give her a present and then tell her she could look at it next time she was at my house lol.
I've just been setting up DD's tag junior reading device, it's so cool and as she loves reading books hopefully she'll love it now we have got it working.
Lol wendz, the alphabet set is at guess who's house so I don't have to listen to it.0 -
I'm really tired this morning for some reason, waiting in today for the roofers to come and put a new roof on.
The lounge looks like Toys r US so we have to sort through all the toys, and I really should get some of the bits I sorted through onto Ebay as well later.0 -
Good luck with the sorting, we have just got home and so we are trying to find room for everything.0

Hope the roofers turned up on time and arent drinking too much tea!
