  • Well that has messed that up then. The next thing will be seeing their new rates to recover the money they have paid out already.

    Typical,
The establishment is looking after itself, our charges were incurred by the banks making us overdrawn for a DD which, took us overdrawn by £3
    Sparky0107 - Sealed pot challenge member #002. Total for SPC3 £1,030.57 Total For SPC 4 £2247.00 Total for SPC 5 £2574.62 :T Total for SPC 6 £4552.91:T

  • It's the people who live on a tight budget like myself who get hit the hardest, all it takes is one payment error and you end up in a cycle of charges, £25 a time for going slightly overdrawn is extortionate but it hits you harder when the next month comes and instead of having the money for your bills your having to pay your charge instead which sometimes causes more charges.

Yorkshire bank used to charge £8 a day for been overdrawn and costs like that soon add up when your on a tight budget.

Im a bit confused as guy on sky news said if your claim is stateing that the charges incurred did not represent true value of costs incurred by bank then claims are still valid?????

meaning if you went over drawn by sya 3p and they charged you 35 pounds for it and then charged 35 pounds on top of that then that is deemed unfair to the tru value of cost to the bank

cause it doesnt cost them £67.93 to pay back your 3p

  • in every bank there are hundreds of leafelts on display, all produced, printed and delivered a t a huge cost, why dont we all go into banks and remove all leaflets for recycling? we will be punishing the banks to a small degree, and doing our bit for the environment
  • How much money did the banks pay them to win?! There is something dodgy going on. An under the desk payment I think!

    Thats what i thought too.

  • jancey b you made a genuine error, you parked your car too close to mine, please cani help myself to £200+ of your money?

if the answer is yes pm me, if its no then why the hell is my issue any different, an error is an error, a fine is a punishment

I've made an error and gone overdrawn... and got charged £35... it taught me not to go overdrawn... Would you be happy paying £120 a year for banking anyway even if you dont go overdrawn... and !!!!!! are you talking about cars thats a crap metaphor
