Thanks to this I've lost my family who helped me out. I was hoping to pay them back after this case was solved but they've now disowned me. Never again will I trust anyone.0

All togther now .................... Bend Over For The Banks!!!!
Thats what it feels like now!!!!!
Absolutely unlawful!!0 -
Putting my two penith in.
Yes I agree that the charges can seem to be excessive, but we are all aware of them and we are all know the consequences if we do go od.
I feel that this and the refunding of credit card bills is just wrong. We must take resposibility in this country for our actions.
Its not my fault, or I dont understand is not good enough.
We spent it, we sould pay for it.
Expecting to get money back because of your own actions????
Please!!!!!!!!!!!!!0 -
As we cannot rely on rich judges to rule against the rich banks, isn't it time we all took action? I would suggest that as the banks feel no obligation to justify the validity of removing a certain amount of money out of my account, which is no different to me walking into one of their branches and picking up, say, a chair, or computer monitor and walking out with it, just because I told them what I was going to do, that is exactly what everybody should do. Whichever way you look at it, to take something from somebody without justifying it isn't right, the banks do it to us, so we should do it to them. Time to organise a day of action methinks!0

I would have thought the OFT had put together a plan B in the event of the Supreme Court ruling in favour with the banks. We'll just have to wait and see.0

I for one am glad that I can continue to receive my free banking.
Why should I be penalized for other peoples ineptitude to manage their finances.
100% agree.
Why should I be charged for using an ATM to help pay for someone living beyond their means. Best news so far this year!0 -

Giving £500 to a **** who got into debt to go and spend it on crap will not help the economy in any way, they will waste the money go overdrawn again and reclaim again and all the responsible people who do not go overdrawn will have to bail them out.
Your comment above was crazy and obviously you do not understand the bigger picture.
so youre tarring everyone with the same brush and to people you know nothing aboutReplies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. So the Court of Appeal were not corrupt, because they agreed with your viewpoint?
The phrase 'sour grapes' springs to mind. It is sad that some people cannot be more grown up about this.
I'm just a guy with a small bank balance and like many other people on this forum today I am disappointed with the result. This was the site where I found out that I could make a claim and its the obvious place to share my views about the result. Why buy when you can win!

What a selfish attitude. What you are saying is that as you have been lucky to never been caught out by the banks, you want people that have been, to keep subsidizing your banking. You want something for nothing, and you think that other people should pay it for you!
I do not think luck comes into it in the majority of cases.0
