    Cheers,

Well done Jock but you must be able to find another pound surely :D

    :) Mortgage Balance = £0 :)

  • Couple of things have come up which will make it difficult to add any extra overpayments on top of what we already manage each month for a bit.

Firstly it’s the mother-in-law’s 60th this year and we have decided to treat her to a holiday in the Canaries with us at the end of October. She has not been away abroad for a long time so it will be nice to treat her. She looks more 50 than 60 and is a great laugh (could not have asked for a better mother in law!) so no doubt the three of us will have a great time away.

Secondly my car was in for a service this month however it also needed new front pads, disks and one of the springs was cracked (common on VW Golf/Bora). So the bill ended up almost double what was expected. Mustn’t grumble though as the pads/disks lasted well, its been about 50k miles since I last had them replaced!

We are also off down south to stay with family for a long weekend from Thursday so will cost us a bit on fuel, eating out etc.

However still looking to break through the 20k barrier by May, wish us luck! :)
