Queen B - Sounds like a sensible plan if you ask me - gives you that peace of mind of being able to get at some money if you urgently need to.
Had lots of lovely parcels arrive today...
2 huge shoe box size boxes filled with lovely shredded black paper, a gorgeous cardboard gift bag, a nice little black box and my "charm" from hotdiamonds in a little black drawstring bag....The packaging was brill....:T top marks for a fantastic freebie. The charms are nice too
Also had my hotel choccy stuff arrive.....saving one box for inlaws for xmas as they love them.....the other box may have been opened just to make sure they were safe to eat

As for the budgets......god knows what's going to happen to ours, DH's work have an insurance policy that kicks in, in January when his sick pay finishes....It will mess up the HB/CTB that we get as we'll have to submit more paperwork....looks like we might be worse off but until it's all finalised I don't know so can't plan.....that's the bit I hate most...the not knowing from one month to the next just how much I need to find....ah well....could be worse."Start every day off with a smile and get it over with" - W. bet that opened box won't be around for long Pooky. Just remember you need to cancel the next box for next month otherwise you will get charged full price or around that!
Am looking forward to my hot diamonds package..hope it comes tomorrow

In other news...
I plan to colour my hair tonight. I haven't done mu own colour since I was about 22 so its been a while:rolleyes: But I've got this networking night on Thursday and I haven't had my highlights done for about six months and I figured £90 (I know, I know...
) for a cut and colour could wait until AFTER I've got a job:rolleyes:
I can hide the fact it hasn't been cut for a while by twisting it up into a knot, which also provides an instant face lift:rotfl:26.2.19/14.1.19: T MC 3629.26/3629.26 : VM 0% 1050/13876.59 : W 0% 100/1485 = 4409.26/18990.85 =25.17%28.1.19/28.1.19 Hubs 0% £400/£2,977 =13.44%SPC 2019 #073

QB - as the great Mr Lewis says "debt is not bad, bad debt is bad" and you'll be saving money with the new account. Because of credit card balance transfer, I reckon our finances will be a lot better than I'd worried they'd be! And I've just got more chrimbo pressies for £21 (two teddies and two snowflake ornaments) from truprint.
working it out, I just need to get Wayne's other present (CD and possibly some trainers / t-shirts), the brother-in-law's present and then I can worry about what to get Evie! I want to get a toy-storage box and a dress/ outfit, but the toy storage box is £40 from mothercare and other than than not sure!
I must remember to get some wrapping paper and wrap the presents at some point;)

I just read the title of this chat thread and nearly fell off my chair!

Hi All Random post but i need some help with me tea! i`ve made a cottage pie from scratch for my tea but now its made i`ve realised how big a pie i`ve made so i want to freeze half of it but i`m not sure if i can??? Its a turkey mince one which i`ve dry fried & put in some mushrooms, broccoli & mashed carrots & potato`s for the topping. I`ll be putting it into the oven just to heat it up & brown the top. Can i chuck the half left over in the freezer & re-heat it at a later date??
Sorry for the rambling but don`t want to give myself food poisoning!

I don't see why you couldn't freeze the cottage pie.
I've had an email from HD saying my order will be sent soon, but dad had an email saying if he wanted it he had to pay £25, anyone else had that one?Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0
