:eek:Morning all...what are we all doing today???

I should be working out if we can afford to live to the same standard as we are now, on a pension....(but I will probably just waste time on newly-discovered Facebook!!)

  • that is far too scary.

Today I will be trying to find my dining room table under the pile of ironing. From the door the table looks like its wonky but I don't know if this is just because of all the ironing on it.

Facebook is playing up for me at the moment, its not been the same since they changed the feed thing.

  • Right, you good at covering letters people.
I need to apply for a htel receptionist job - jobcentre were helpful yesterday and found a couple of jobs for me to look at. It's only a covering letter plus cv one but the letter is taxing me. All it says is customer focused individual, able to work well as part of a team but also self-motivated and able to adapt and work in a pressurised environment.

Suggestions on a post card please. Won't be doing it until tonight so no rush! :D

    Morning all :hello:

The last of my Christmas shopping arrived in the post yesterday and I wrapped most of it last night - scaring myself how organised I am!

Very sniffly and coughing this morning but seems to have shifted a bit after a run - think my nose ran as much as my legs!

  • I've just done an incredibly honest (and possibly stupid) thing.

I get a Disabled Students Allowance for having an Autistic Spectrum Disorder. A few weeks ago, I claimed back £7.35 for my internet for the month, along with some printing costs. They've just paid me £150 for my internet, plus the printing. Now they might've decided to pay me my year's allowance all at once, except that's only £100.

Yep, you guessed it, I owned up. I've sent them an e-mail and I'll wait to see what they say. I'd rather not have the money than be worrying that they'll change their minds and want it back. I do hope they let me keep it but if they don't, at least I won't have that worry over my head. God, I'd make a terrible MP, wouldn't I? :rotfl:
