Very honest of you Kayleigh, but for the best, as you say you don't want them to suddenly ask for it back.

Good Morning All!
Well done on everything everyone has planned for today! Alas I just have broing old work to keep me amused, but I'm on my ownin the office, so it gives me more opportunity to be on here!
Kayleigh - Your honesty will be rewarded I'm sure, as I'm sure had you left it they may well have found out, so to save you the worry, you've let them know. If they don't respond make sure the email is kept just in case!
And Squizz, well done on the Xmas shopping! You put me to shame!
Bookie - Good luck with the job hunting! DH is in the same boat but things are quietening down pre-Xmas unfortunately. He does have an interview at waitrose for a delivery driver, which he'd be great at, but then I'm biased!
Becky - get well soon!
Lots of haircuts going on - so I hope you all look fabulous!!
Have a good day all! Bess xxOfficial DFW Nerd Club #20  Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts

I don't feel right...can't put my finger on it but I feel spacey, tired and weird. At work until 2pm then quick dash to post office and home to pick B up. Think I might start wrapping my Christmas presents tonight, squizz you have made me get organised

Sal - you just relax... have something a bit sweet, maybe your blood sugar's a bit low... and have an extra glass of water in case it's dehydration...
I've ordered a few bits for Erin's Christmas today, CD and 2 DVD's... really oughtta start getting more organised.. I've left Big G in charge of the big thing for her from Santa (laptop/notebook, i know, she's only 8 don't even go there!!) and i said i would give him half... however i will be keeping track of the total of all the little things and deducting that from what i give him... y'know the pj's, cd's, annual/books, dvds and i'm going to get her a cheapie DVD player for her room too... as she only has a tv video combi upstairs, and she does watch lots of old videos but i know she'd sometimes want to watch dvd's and doesn't always want to do it downstairs... sure you can pick up a dvd player for about £25 nowadays....
((hugs)) for the poorlies.... <gives self a wee hug too>
and well done kayleigh babes on being honest....I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Thanks Maz
What are you doing for Christmas, Is Big G having her at all? If Id known you were after a DVD I could have sent you an old one (well it was quite new, my sisters) that I freecycled. Tesco, Argos and places do have them mucho cheapness so that shouldn't be too bad.
Have just had a hot chocolate under orders (maz) so waiting to see if its low blood sugar, and going to get a glass of water nowI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Hi Sally - I hope the hot choc and water do the trick! I think these type of ailments are doing the rounds. I felt just like that last Thursday - almost like I wanted to take my head off my body to try and release what was inside!! (what a strange picture!!) Anyway, I leapt around at aerobics and it seemed to do the trick! So maybe if you still feel fuzzy take a turn round outside with some fresh air, which I hope helps!Official DFW Nerd Club #20  Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts

think I might try and go for a run tonight, although it will have to be in the dark once B has gone to bed  so quite restricted where I can goI'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

The plan for Xmas is for me n erin to get up and then before she goes downstairs to see what santa has brought.... she is going to call her dad, who is 5 minutes away and he's going to come up and see her open her presents....
i'll do bacon rolls and he can stay for breakfast.... I think that's quite reasonable really....
I've told GM that this is the plan around Erin and Big G... so he knows he can't stay on xmas eve... and to be honest i doubt he planned to, but i wanted to be up front and avoid a possible clash....
not sure if i'll see him on Xmas day... might be nice to have him over in the evening if he wanted to... i'm leaving it up to him as i think his parents and gran might want him to themselves....
I'm thinking i might invite my old neighbour Dawn over for Christmas dinner with me n erin.. my mum is going to my brothers i think....I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0
