For the first time I have done my OH a stocking this year, total cost £20 and includes silly things like little puzzles, car gadgets, etc. I always get him several main presents, ususally something silly/toy and a book/something sensible.
For his main present he has
    Air Rifle book £15
    R/C Indoor Helicopter £12
will probably get him a t-shirt or something too.
    So that's £50 I've spent on him.

(My Dad's birthday is the 18th, my sisters is the 23rd, my FIL's is the 20th!)

Dad - joint xmas present for him and Mum, Duvet and covers set, may get them pillows too (theirs are all manky and they never buy new stuff like that)
For his birthday he has an engraved glass, exactly like the one I had done for him for his 50th last year as it got broke and he was really upset! £3.50

FIL - B'day - Wooden build your own motorbike and sidecar model. £7.99
    X-mas, slippers and a book. £5

BIL1 - Little car gifts and some sweets £6
BIL2 - Diary and Calendar (though this will probably be a wasted gift as we've just found out he's back on Heroin!)
BIL3 - Puzzle (I always buy him logic puzzles, he still hasn't managed the 4x4 rubiks I got him for his b'day!)
    Brother - T-shirt
June Grocery Challenge £493.33/£500 July £/£500
    2 adults, 3 teens
Progress is easier to acheive than perfection.

  • Thanks for all those Top Gear ideas, going to get one of the silly items for my brother.

Managed to get soemthing for 2 x 16 year old nephews:

Also going to get them those trendy Arab scarves all the yoofs wear, in their football team colours (ebay about £3.50).

This book is half price (£4.50ish) in Tesco, Amazon, WH Smith and other places so I'd probably check the price before buying. I got mine a few weeks ago from bangzo for just postage costs :D.

    It's only a game
