PPI Claim Welcome Finance

Hi everyone well just thought I would update on my position re my claim. Got a call from my Account Manager who advised that the account has been finalised and I should receive my cheque any day now woo hoo plus my payment each month has gone down £60 which is great.

Thanks to everyone on here couldnt have done it without your support.

Does anybody know how long Welcome are taking to send cheques out after you have returned their form saying you accept their offer?

It's all good that we are being told we are getting the money but if they are keeping it for ages...

Perhaps you could send them a reminder by recorded delivery.

It's only been a couple of weeks since I sent in the form, I was just wondering when I should start reminding them.

If its only been a couple of weeks then perhaps give them a couple more as FOS give them about a month or so before reminding them. Mine took a few weeks from my bank via FOS but i did ring them and asked them to make the payment. Well done on winning though.

i sent my first letter off to Welcome 26/11/2009 & yesterday got an offer of full refund + interest paid on premiums + 8% interest. signed it & sent it back straight away, so my mission is that from the end of next week I will fone them daily till I get my cheque through the post!!! They stole my money off me and i wont stand for them keeping hold of it any longer!!

I have had a total of 3 cheques from Welcome over the last week all have come about 10 days after sending back the acceptance.
So to total thats 4700 and still a couple more to come :j
