I'm sooo tempted to do the hostile takeover. At one point she said "of course once you get used to the meetings, you'll have the minutes to do". These are 3 meetings once a quarter. As if the minutes will take me long! I reckon I could do her job AND my job AND half the job of the colleague and STILL have a bit of time to surf.

Has she actually read your CV:confused:

Pedicure done... need to find food, then put my feet up for a bit.

Not the real one - remember a couple of weeks ago I talked about seriously dumbing down my CV? Well, that's the one her boss has seen ;)

    It would seem so :o

But, I've been doing some thinking this evening (that's dangerous I know!). I have decided that I'm going to quietly improve the efficiency within it with a smile and subterfuge. I shall spend some time looking at their spreadsheets and quietly create a second, far more logical and efficient set on the side. Even if they throw it away, at least it will have helped relieve the boredom.

Animals have been fed and my dinner's on the way - HM cauliflower with a cheese sauce which includes the remains of the ham I cooked up on Tuesday, onion and celery. I'm also going to boil up two beetroot I have in the fridge. I'm so fancying sandwiches for my lunch tomorrow which basically involve a soft cream cheese with slices of beetroot on top. I've only ever seen it available in sandwich in Valliland and those there parts. It's not known down south, but it is delish!

On with the kitchen clearing.. it has to be totally empty by 8am for my new windows to be fitteed.. right now it looks like a skip!!! It seems to have twice as much carp in as normal.. and that is already more than most of you will have in your entire house! I have about 20 tins of paint on one worktop.. this looks like being a LOOOOOOOOOOOONG night lol

    More composting out
DW on for the third time today.. one more load to go in.
Christmas cakes in the freezer.. I'll whizz them out and ice them in a few weeks.
I have an abundance of apples that need to be crumble.. but my crumble dish currently contains the remnants of yesterdays trifle.. OH will have to be decluttering that.

Must get a hundred loads of washing done before morning so that will be out of the way.

    More recycling out
Sink cleaned so I can fill it with water to wash the junk from the window sills before I box it.
    Bins emptied
    litter trays emptied...

Did I have a list this week? I can't remember

Oh.. I finally took down the Halloween decs too.. and half vacuumed the heinous middle room which I LOATHE doing ebcause the carpet is a pig to get clean.

Just wanted to pop in and say hi again. It's been about 4 weeks since I saw this thread and joined and since then i have not posted much, however the change in my home is fantastic!

I now am proud to have people over -WHENEVER, they don't even need to give me the usual panic hour to try and make at least one room reasonable!

My night routine is slick and easy! I am loving being a fly lady.

I'll go back to lurking now but keep up the good work it keeps me going! :0)
