Well done on the deadline with the book - just make sure you keep your brain going at work so it's still functioning when you get home to write!

Can you ask them to give you some slightly longer-term tasks... like maybe a whole day's work in one go, now they know they can trust you? ;)

I don't think they know the meaning of a whole day's work! I did sort of prod my boss today and asked her about what I would be doing next week when she's on holiday. I think that's geared her up a bit and she found a couple more tasks for me today - one was REALLY interesting. It was removing a load of paper from a file and putting it in the confidential waste bin, then the file and the plastic sleeves back in the cupboard. It took all of two minutes....

It's only working on the book in the evenings that's keeping me sane at the moment...

And having hardly flown at all this week, I now have no excuse. My Dyson attachments arrived this afternoon so I'm off to fly..

  • HHC sort of slipped into an hour or so..

    WM x 2
    TD x1
    DW x 1
    Whisked to PO
Wrote note for neighbour (spotted their car has a flat)
Tidied lounge as someone coming shortly for a quick visit
    Tidied kitchen

Now for a quick tidy through and then to consult the master Fayre to do list..

    Moam
Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.... life is a WIP.

Snowball says too far away, working hard to bring it forward.

    Afternoon all

Triker - glad hubbie is ok, good luck with getting a replacement car.

Grateful - hope you are having a good birthday

Sexy - hope your science thing with the parents went well

Mudders - stroking cats is supposed to be great at reducing pain so it's good your DS likes doing it. I can't walk past my mogs without stroking them

Halfway through the bathroom so want to get that finished before more support for DS2 on his coursework, DS3 homework and dinner.
