I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
  • evening everybody - sorry for being MIA - have had a day with my lovely friend C - the one who visits me in hospital - didnt get home until 5.30 and then it was tea time and then I had phone calls and it has taken me ages to catch up - I am off to bed in a mo though as i am tired -managed to get some bits and bobs both for stocking fillers and things I needed and it was all very leisurely - also met up with her DiL and her father and GD for lunch and he paid so that was a lovely bonus.

toots he's really looking forward to it so I hope it lives up to his expectations, carpet sounds similar to mine in the LR :rotfl: panthers are a type of chameleon

thanks for the links lil_me - they are very colourful and I hadnt realised they were so small but they still give me the shudders!!!:rotfl: how did the first day go then - hope there werent any issues - well none that cant be overcome. Hope you are feeling better today.
As for the nightmare in the house why not focus on the area that is annoying you most - only one area mind - NOT the whole house!!!
fedup hope you dont get any worse and begin to feel better soon - stuff EX - you are getting on with your life and he is not part of it - he has made that quite clear - so be strong (((hugs))))
froddy lucky Mum! that sounds like a good idea and Dublin is another nice one to consider too.
Kazm excuse me honey but you are entitled and expected to sleep and not do a lot - you are poorly and waiting for treatment remmember DOH!!!!! dont be hard on yourself angel - try not to do too many physical jobs that will tire you out - doing your cards would be a good idea as you could be sitting comfortably and stop and start as you wanted to. be sure to keep a record of your BP readings and how you have been feeling so you can tell them at the hospital
carlsberggal not wanting to be melodramatic (if thats the right word?) but what would happen if you were totally not able to go in like with a broken leg or in hospital or dead - they would have to cover - stay at home and give your self a chance to recover - get a sick line if necessary. And we know you are a good Mum just ignore the thread - pretend you never started it now.
vanilla dont know much about the agency but you will have to contact them again - they must have previous records on this - or CAB - he will maybe need to get a DNA done to prove he is not the father - maybe the doctor could help by writing and saying how much it is affecting his health
rach sorry honey i missed sending vibes for DH's exam - I hope it went ok - it would be great if that was his studying finished with.
valli well done for the incentive:eek::rolleyes::D
AnW'sMum yes got lost behind the settee and gave up - will have to post the present - was going to take it with me today! I hope the murder wasnt too painful or messy!!!:rotfl: great final count - mine was only 2575 yesterday but is 4520 today!
LadyL glad you are more relaxed with the chair thing now - specaila love right back at you honey - you are always in my thoughts!!! And i can see you were thinking about me too - thanks angel I am ok - have been out for the day and it has taken ages to catch up with you lot!!
holly congratulations on the new car - will be so good for you to have
dusty well done for voicing your feelings with the teacher - as you said that was his day sorted - good and proper :T
Jo (((hugs))) if copper isnt too well then shut the doors to keep her confined? even if she is ok keep the doors of the rooms you have done already closed to keep them tidy - get DS into a habit of shutting doors behind him - I know its not easy honey but it might help control the place needimg hoovered so often - and you spent all that money get the carpets cleaned you dont want to waste that!!!
nikki2804 have a (((hug))) for your bad days
grateful happy Birthday - hope you had a good day:bdaycake:
lemanie - i will take back everything i aid if you join in with the peg thing :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: you sound a bit cheerier today and thats brilliant news from the breast clinic - the 8th is pretty good - you just have to be a very good patient between now and then and be careful what you eat and get rest (((hugs)))
Triker oh NO!!!!!!!!!!!!! is DH ok? thats bad luck at this time of the year with all the expenses for christmas etc - although there are some quite good deals if you hunt - the car sales places are struggling still. (((hugs))) eta good to see hubby is in one piece xx
FFP well done to the kids for their endeavours thats brilliant
soappie it sounds to me like you are overdoing it - you becareful not to strain yourself:rolleyes:
mummyyof5 nightmare - could you speak to their customer service to speed things up?
pooh I have missed you but I hope the wedding goes well and you have a good time
kazm I love the idea of a pandora bracelet - I just wish i had found them sooner - too late to collect now.

toots I think you should write a book, fab advice :) I've decided apart from necessary stuff like laundry etc kitchen is getting organised first! DS1s first day went well but I think the teacher may have changed lessons to suit him :rotfl: literacy using ICT suite....hmmm....regardless he loved it. If you think they are smll, pygmy ones are only as big as my thumb fully grown, diddy diddy cute....but too little for our tanks & DP said no when I asked. Oh & Quillion is right :p
rosep tomorrow will be a better day ((hugs))
soappie that sounds like a wonderful idea :)
JillD men don't tend to take things like that well, if you need a rant/vent/advice (if I can help) drop me a message x
greenbee thanks for those, we have been working on the draught problem with add in sealant but not managed curtains etc yet, I am going to monitor daily for a while. We have a gas shower (odd but getting used to it) it runs off the combi, hot water feed to DW etc. House is prefab style & no loft, or fireplace...but seems warmer than the last house. I'll think I will try the reflectors as all radiator except bathroom & hall are on outside walls under windows, will look up suggestions.
kazw I have a pandora & I love it, there are loads of cheaper versions but I wanted something to keep. My friend wears hers 24/7 and it's never broken.

Swimming done, cubs done, collapsed in a heap done. Having this tennis ball lump on my arm (nope not kidding about size) starting to annoy me & DS1 was being awful kept deliberately touching it. Please don't let it put you off getting injections if you need it, I just don't respond well to stuff. Ordered a boys birthday presents, need some sort of toy for him but a careful choice as he has severe cerebral palsy....I want something noise activated so going to look online.

Tomorrow have DS2s sensory profile with occupational therapy at 1pm, should be interesting. Must get some shopping bits while I am out. Kitchen on the morning, I WILL totally finish one room this week I promise toots. DPs still not back from Birmingham so he'll be in bed until afternoon anyway.
One day I might be more organised...........

Grateful Happy Birthday hun, sorry I'm a bit late.:bdaycake::bdaycake::bdaycake::bdaycake:

Rosepink, sweetheart, sending huge hugs for you, so sorry yo've had a bad day....tomorrow will be better hopefully. :grouphug:

LL loving your ideas re the wheelchair hun. When I was in the depths of this illness I honestly thought about a wheelchair, I wasn't bothered in the slightest though because I was going to try and continue what I could and if a wheelchair was part of the plan then so be it. I even looked into wheelchair hire and motorised scooter hire for when we went on holiday....hell, they've invented it, might as well use it, is my philosophy.:D Get yourself out and about hun, do what you need to do that and hold your head proud because you are a strong, beautiful woman......go get 'em.:kisses3:

Thanks everyone re the whole car wrecked/hubby thang, he was shaken up but is fine. Didn't like that car anyway...:rotfl:its a sheddy brava and well past its sell by date.Pigpen, I didn't pass on the squishy hug.....he declines them from me so you had no chance.:p;):D

Moi, well done knack all really, feeling a bit unmotivated to do anything except look for those blasted hamsters :rotfl:.

Toots, hope you're ok, you seem very busy at the mo...aren't you supposed to be resting....eh???:p

There was loads more I wanted to say, people in my thoughts but my tiny mind has dribbled out of my earholes......forgive me.

Needless to say I LOVE YOU ALL, XXXXXXX
